Not a recommendation for the winter months because it's so cold, but this is a great little place to soak up the sun and look out at the bay, while nursing a drink and a light snack.
When in St Kilda, we like to walk along the pier and usually end up here for a coffee. It's always busy and sometimes you don't get a seat, but it's always a nice destination to end up at.

This is the Teppanyaki experience to perfection. If you want to catch food in your mouth, watch amazing culinary skills inches from your fingertips and nearly get your eyebrows singed by mouth watering barbecued calamari, then this is the place for you.

There are banquets to suit most budgets and all will fill your belly without an issue. The Teppanyaki Chefs are hilarious and very talented. Their skills will keep your tastebuds and eyes tantalised.

Make sure you wear something that can be stained because if you're lucky, or unlucky depending on your view, you could be made to catch rice or a raw egg from across the room!

Great fun. An awesome experience! Do it with a group of friends or family.

We'd heard about this place and was invited there by some friends who wanted a catch up.

When we walked in we were shocked by the noise. The place was buzzing and there were people literally falling all over themselves. Once we got a table, which was a struggle due to the maze of people we had to get through and the wait we endured, we sat down but had to shout to each other to be heard. It was like being at a concert.

The food was probably your average restaurant fare. Nothing really special or to rave about considering it's pretty pricey. The view was nice but not easy to see through the crowd.

We've been here a couple of times now and for a few reasons, mainly: the huge breakfast you can get called 'The Big Fat Pommie Bastards Breakfast'. You get a hash brown, sausage, eggs, bread, beans, mushies, tomatoes and probably more that I just can't remember. We drive all the way from the Yarra Valley to tuck into these breakfasts because after eating one you can go into hibernation for a few months. It's enough food for an army, but it's a good tasting feed!

I haven't been here for lunch or dinner but judging by the way the place looks in the morning, its a pretty trendy place with a big fireplace and a great menu. The staff are pretty cool and friendly, so I'm guessing it'd be good all round.

I went here for a work function and it was a great night out, and not because of my colleagues. Belly dancing aside, everything was a new experience. The menu is full of choices, staff are pleasant and prices are good.
All in all, a good night out.

This place used to be a lot better, but in recent times it attracts a pretty average crowd and seems more like the place to pick up and get sloshed, than have a good night out and meal with friends.

The menu has good choices, but it's a bit pricey considering this is a restaurant located at a shopping centre. I'd prefer the food court to be honest.

Looking for a good local Greek restaurant, we gave Nikos a try.

If you want a good cheap meal, with a good range of Greek cuisine, then this place isn't a bad one to choose.

While the food isn't the best I've ever had, if you are after the Greek flavour, but don't want the travel or the price, this place is fine. The service is good and staff are friendly. The menu isn't extensive, but it's suitable. The banquet is your best bet!

This review is for Bazoo Bar & Lounge, Croydon VIC

We went here for a 18th birthday party and to say we weren't impressed...understatement!

Tucked away behind the main street in Croydon you feel like you are about to discover some amazing little gem, but really, you just find something little that happens to have booze.

Inside, Bazoo bar is teeny weeny. It got very squishy and uncomfortable once more guests arrived and there were very few places to sit. The 'function' room is really just the main room. There are no other rooms but it leads you to think there are. The bar staff seemed to be more worried about their 'coolness' than pulling drinks and the toilets are hardly clean or enough to cater for the amount of barely 18 year olds who swamp the place.

The fingerfood provided can be found in any Coles or Safeway freezer and given a quick blast in the microwave, which I'm sure is what happened here.

Personally, I wouldn't book a function here. Nor would I go here for a social visit. There are a lot better places around than this.

This review is for Three Sugars Cafe, Warburton VIC

I've done my share of reviews on this website, but if I am to make a recommendation, they don't come higher than this!

Three Sugars is by far the most superior place to eat in the Yarra Valley.

Any excuse will do and I will be there with bells on!

The building itself cannot be helped, but it adds to the rustic feel/flavour of this quaint little restaurant.

We go here all the time and have never had a bad experience. Locals love it and tourists embrace it. Dogs are welcome guests for those wanting an alfresco experience.

It's a cosy squeeze inside, but a warm one.

The menu has a great variety, including breakfast. It's lots of your usual country restaurant fare: burgers (including vegetarian), sumptuous pastries, pasta, focaccias and the rest.

Whatever you do, if you go here, get a chai latte! They serve it with honey and its the best chai latte I have EVER had. I have dreams about this drink, seriously!

Staff are always pleasant and friendly too!

It's worth the trip to Warburton!

This review is for Phoolwari Tandoori Indian Restaurant, Ringwood VIC

If you live in Ringwood, you are really lucky! There are two fantastic Indian restaurants at your fingertips and Phoolwari is one of them!

Service here is fantastic everytime. They get your meals to you quickly and they are always friendly and helpful.

The menu is varied and extensive. Vegetarian options are easy and plentiful, with lots of flavour. The breads are absolutely delicious and soak up all those spices and stews with ease, they're almost a meal in themselves.

A great place for a great meal.
