I had a very disappointing experience doing a course here a few years back. Discrimination runs rampant through-out the campus.
On several exams I got cheated out of marks, cause of my attire, age and beliefs. When I tried to report these incidents I was referred to the counsellors and told 'Its not a big deal, try to deal with it.'
Unprofessional...
On another note the campus has a good layout, and a decent canteen. Newcastle Tafe in general has a good range in courses , payment methods and is in a great location.
My recommendation Pay more and choose a different training provider.

The Cardiff hot bread shop has been around for decades, I use to go there when I was a child and I still go there now.
Why? The food.
tasty and filling. The Cheese & bacon rolls and mini pizzas are my favourite. With fresh bread baked daily and yesterdays bread at half price, you always get good value especially when you buy in bulk packs.
This bakery is in my top 10.

All positive here, the fellas here know how to run a good café with an always updated menu range at a decent price.

As for the coffee and tea, I have never had a bad/burnt batch and is usually accompanied with small chocolate or treat on your teaspoon. They really make the extra effort to provide a wonderful experience to dine here.

kaoskitty9871 is correct, the chicken salad sandwich is definitely worth a try and is also a favourite of mine.

Good attitude, food, atmosphere, price.

Competitive prices (cheaper than most spare parts sellers in the Cardiff area) The prices are usually 5-10% more expensive than online(ebay etc.), but they're local for quick pick-up. (A bonus)
Decent service. Although their stock and availability can change, but they had what I needed most of the time.
I recommend this business for parts, But make sure you shop around first.

This review is for Liberty Petrol Station, Windale NSW

The price of petrol is consistent here and the quality is average. , compared to the other stations, petrol sits 2 cents above the average price.
My gripe is the pumps are inaccurate by a lot!

Over 5 visits I took my 5L jerry can to fill,
It took $8 to $12 to fill 5L at $1.48, Do the maths. It should be less than $7.50. (this was done on hot and cold days.)

The station attended was notified.
Food and drinks are also average for petrol station prices. Whilst the customer service is good.

Avoid

This review is for One89 Cafe, Mayfield NSW

For 3 years now, I have been going to this café. And within the last year or so, they have been serving up poor/bad quality food.
Raw chicken with their grilled chicken burger, Sausages instead of a beef patty on a works burger. The bacon & egg bagel are decent though.
A definite hit & miss with the food. The good quality of the coffee at a good price is the only menu item that's consistent. 2 years ago this café would of got 4.5 stars with ease.
What a shame.

If you need strong welds done at a cheap price on your vehicle, go here. My experience:-
*thumpstar foot peg re-welded $15
*Fitted my 'redback' catalytic converter, and a 2.5' catback exhaust on my vt $40, which included labour, disposal of the old exhaust and new hangers.

When they do a service on your car they're quick.
Although they're at full capacity most of the time, so it does take a few hours or a day till they see yours. (A no appointment centre, drop your car in and wait.)

A guy named Pete who runs that place is a top bloke, visit him, he'll sort you out.

This review is for Windale Takeaway, Windale NSW

Best valued takeaway in the area with a great service.
Just like 20 years ago. $2.50 gets you a footy sized bag of chips. $1.30 (approx.) for a decent sized cocktail fish. $2.50 for a pluto pup etc. just great prices across their menu.
A good and cheaper tasting alternative for lunch or dinner.
Although, get in early or call ahead before the dinner rush(5-8pm).
I have had to wait >40mins for a few orders before.

One of the best priced automotive groups around.
For years I have taken my cars here, why?
The No BS service like you get with other mechanics, these guys are trustworthy, have a great customer service, know what they're doing and won't take you for a ride.
Hey $26 for a pinkslip, that's not half bad.
