What a fabulous night out we enjoyed for a birthday celebration. Great menu with daily specials also. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Even though we brought our own cake, it was served with cream on the side and no plating charged. It is also in the Entertainment Book so super value for first timers but definitely we will return.

Had heard about this Brisbane "Icon" so when we found ourselves outside, we decided to check it out. One bottle of cider and one glass of bubbles cost more than an average meal for one. However we watched a number of well dressed diners wandering in so after discovering it was ialso n the Entertainment Book we decided to join them. The very limited lunch selection promised some authentic French dishes and as a Francophile I chose the Beefcheek Bourgignon, Husband chose Duck and Daughter, recovering from surgery, chose just an entree of clams. We shared a cheese platter for desert (over $20!). Unfortunately the food, while enjoyable was rather disappointing, especially the duck which was rather dry. My own Boeuf Bourgignon is just as good as the $38 dish I received. If we hadn't got one meal for free thanks to the Entertainment Book, we would have been very disappointed with the high prices for quite unexceptional fare.

What a disappointment and a very expensive one at that! The bar attendant didn't know what a pint glass was? $17 for a medium glass of on tap cider and a glass of very poor bubbles! Couldn't sit at the bar for the rude, loud and already drunk group who covered all spare stools with their handbags and coats. We sat overlooking the street and the waiting hut for the ferry, forced to listen to the complaints of the group beneath us at the table on the street. Their $40 bottle of wine was not being enjoyed. The people next to us were complaining about the price of their very average meal. Our second round of drinks meant a wait to get our change. We perused the menu but the prices, like that of the drinks did not appeal especially after listening to neighbouring complaints. After trying to enjoy the non-existant atmosphere we decided to dine elsewhere and we definitely won't be back.

Hadn't been here for years but decided to try the advertised 'Seniors' special meals. However on looking at the unappetising choice we decided to share a pizza which for the advertised price made us think it was big enough for two. It was a real disappointment both in size and quality. I ordered also the advertised coffee and cake special but waited nearly half and hour after I ordered and still no cheesecake, depsite inquiring four times if it was coming. Eventually it did with the excuse "It had to be heated up"! Not good enough as there were only a couple of other diners still in the restaurant and it only needed a minute in a microwave!!! The hotel offers special deals for 'members' and online vouchers but we were disappointed on this occasion

Having bought a voucher online I was a little dubious but delighted with the result of my style cut, treatment and eyebrow threading package. This is a no frills little salon but the girls provide a range of services including nails, pedicure, waxing, tanning and even eyelash extensions or perming.

This is a jewel of a little licenced cafe tucked away on the Noosa Marina Wharf at Tewantin. Although wet and windy on this occasion we still sat comfortably on the sheltered deck watching pelicans landing to fish. The food is delicious and huge servings. Even the melts and wraps are plentifully filling. There was no rush to make us move along as we lingered over the tranquility. Open for breakfast and lunch daily, this is well worth a visit. Might be worthwhile booking if a large group.

Although my husband and I do not enjoy Turkish food we were with a family group for a celebration. There is a wide choice on the menu but for anyone unused to such cuisine or unable to handle spicey food, it can be a bit daunting. Only a couple among our group managed to eat everything on their plate but all stated they were full, thanks to the turkish bread and dips eaten before the main course. It would be nice to have a couple of non Turkish dishes for those who cannot eat spicey or heavy food. The entertainment of Belly dancers was short but suited the mood. The restaurant was full so it must be popular with many other people.

This was our second visit for an overnight stay but many years since our first. We got a great online rate but were treated as special guests. Our room was comfortable with all the basics including an enormous bathroom suitable if necessary, for a disabled person. We did not dine there as we had a family celebration elsewhere but the convenient bus station round the corner at the Mater Hospital was an extra blessing. My only concern was that although very busy when we checked in and out, only one person was on reception. However on both occasions the young ladies were calm, friendly and most helpful.

As part of the Noosa Longweekend's Three Little Pigs Progressive Lunch we made our first visit to Wood Fire Grill to enjoy the most succulant spit roasted pork which we could see spit-roasting over the open fires in the kitchen. It was delicious and then followed an amazing chocolate slice dessert. On a cold day the restaurant was warm and the staff just as warm in their friendly service.

Having enjoyed Grill'd in Carindale Brisbane, when the hungry young males asked to lunch at this branch, I agreed and wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious and a healthy alternative to other nearby restaurants. Huge servings. There is a wide choice of burgers, salads, paninis etc along with drinks. At the moment $1 from every big Queenslander Burger is going to the 'Give me 5 for Kids" campaign on the Sunshine Coast. Grill'd is even better value if you have the Entertainment Book as you get 'buy one meal get one free. The staff were friendly, efficient and especially helpful to me with a broken arm.
