Previously, I've always called a couple of friends to help me move, but last time I decided to use a removals company. Well, I first tried my luck with the cheapest quote offered by a company of gumtree which ended up costing much more with lots of frustrations and damages. When we moved again this time around I got recommended to try A City Movers by a colleague, and what can I say; they were great! friendly and careful with my belongings and put everything in the right rooms and position. So you learn. With my friends helping there are always damaged items, we usually go drinking afterwards and the bill is on me. Needless to say, hiring a moving company comes cheaper.
