I went to Dana Adaway at Psychology Works for a series of appointments to deal with an issue i was having. She was able to empathetically and systematically help me deal with my issue using a range of techniques. I already started feeling better with the first appointment. At the last appointment Dana gave me a plan to take with me, and that i can refer to if things get tough. The practice is efficiently run with minimal waiting time in lovely rooms. The cost was minimal after the Medicare rebate was applied (through a mental health care plan).

Pellet Fires Tasmania specialises in all types of heating systems, but used them for a ventilation system for our home. The product is very good - as they say, no more crying windows! Therefore no mould etc. The installers were friendly and efficient. Recently we had the system serviced and had a similar experience - the staff really know their products. Very happy with our ventilation system.

This shop is conveniently located in the CBD and they have a very wide range of gifts and home decorator items, as well as cards. I went to Portofino in search of a wall clock, after having difficulty finding what i wanted elsewhere. They have a large range of clocks, something to suit every kind of decor, so I had no trouble choosing a clock here. The staff were happy to accommodate by getting it down off the wall to check the price, and iwas very happy with my purchase.

This is a lovely place to stop at any time of the day for a snack or a meal. We went there with a large group including kids and the menu had something for everyone - sweet and savoury. It's in a lovely spot and the building is different and interesting with unusual objects inside. The staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely drop In again.

The GPs in this clinic are excellent - I have been to Dr Farmer and Dr Bakker for various issues over the last few years. Dr Farmer in particular has a very nice manner and a 'we can fix this' attitude. He is also extremely knowledgable about travel needs - immunisations etc. Dr Bakker is also very good - empathetic and good with organising follow up treatment. Both doctors are very good at diagnosing the problem. The reception staff are also friendly and efficient, and I usually don't need to wait for long for my appointment. Conveniently located in the city, they have just moved to a new location which is very pleasant and airy.

We stopped in here for lunch on our way through. I ordered a zuchinni slice from the specials board, which was not cooked (a square of batter). The rest of my family had items from the regular menu which looked OK. The service was OK - bottle of water on the table, andnthhe meal didn't take long to arrive. it's a cute cafe building, although a little run-down.

We stay at Hunts each time we're in the area. It is very conveniently located, close to different highways. We don't hear the traffic noise, though, because the rooms are far back behind the reception area. It has a lovely pool. The hotel rooms are getting a little run down but still very comfortable and spacious. The microwave oven in the room is also very handy.

I went to Pier01 for a cuppa with a large group. The building and the view are stunning, and the hot chocolate was great. We were there around Christmas time and were given a plate of complementary mince pies - a lovely touch. The staff were friendly and efficient. Would recommend this place for a leisurely cuppa.

We went to the Red Velvet Lounge on the spur of the moment while on a drive. They were fully booked but the staff were very acoommodating and let us sit on one of the comfy lounges. It was lunch time but they had no problem with us just ordering some cake and a cuppa. Absolutely huge and delicious cake. The menu was very extensive and would please anyone going there for a meal. The restaurant is in an old building and the decor very eclectic and interesting. Would recommend this place looking for something special while on a country drive.

We've stayed at this motel from time to time and have always had a good experience. It has a lovely pool and the disabled room that we stayed in was quite large, with a single and queen-sized bed, with a large bathroom also. The motel is conveniently located along the highway, although our room was toward the back and we didn't notice any traffic noise. It's also conveniently located across from a large shopping centre. You can order room service from the adjacent Bowls club, but we made use of the in-room microwave instead - very convenient.
