They had what I needed in stock and at a reasonable price. The service was quick and polite. The store was easy to find, and quite a trip down memory lane. Overall a very pleasant experience.

We went into Dowdens to try to fix something we knew little about. The staff were EXCELLENT. The spent a great deal of time with us sharing their expertise. They stayed back after closing time time trying to figure out ways of helping us, and later on came to the house to help us personally. TERRIFIC SERVICE

If they have any trouble delivering the item, the driver rings you to ask your instructions. They are very professional and very reliable.

Used this service for the 3 times when I have moved house, and owner Greg Dwyer always turns up on time. He is professional and polite. He works quickly and quietly. He does a great job and the carpets come up looking great.

Very poor service and a REALLY bad attitude. He had our boat in the yard for over 2 weeks and we still had to hound him to finish it. (we only needed 1 windscreen panel replaced). I would NEVER go back.

The workmen on site were not great, the folks in in office weren't much better, and their after sales service (for sliding doors which no longer slide after only 6 months), they didn't want to know me and didn't come out. The door still doesn't slide and we have only been in the house 1 year.
