I used to live out at Blueys and ate here regularly. Best pizzas around..actually the only pizzas around, but they really are/were the best. Classic gourmet and modern Italian and they know have to do crusts. We'd also get this for takeaway alot - it was fast, and while waiting there's a good people watching vibe as it's always very busy.

I have spent way too much time and money in this shop in the past 10 years! I love almost everything in this store but especially the candles. There's a lot of knickknacks, gifts, jewellery, ornaments from around the world, and last time I was there, a lot of beautiful artworks that the owner does up on the walls. There's always sure to be something there for a gift, and there are tiny priced items as well as bigger ticket items. All up a stylish shop with very helpful staff and heaps of gorgeous products.

These guys run the town bus service as well as do charters. The town bus service is very good - the drivers are cheerful, professional and almost always on time. What more can you expect from your local buses really? The buses are a modern fleet (no stairs!) and well maintained. All up I've been impressed with their service after about a decade of use - no complaints really.

This is a small butchers on the tiny Fairways shopping strip, and Steve the sole trader there is a friendly, professional and helpful bloke. He'll go out of his way to get you what you want and his prices are comparable to other butchers in the area. It's a nice clean looking shop and the meats look well presented and fresh.

This is my preferred doctors' surgery in this town. It's very modern and attractively presented, there are decent number of doctors, they have a great waiting room and good range of magazines. It's also got a fenced-in outdoor swing set which is handy when you have to wait at all with kids. They also have a pleasantly decorated gated play area inside the surgery. I have had good experiences with at least four different doctors there including a very nice female doctor who you can entrust with your female troubles. I've been using this surgery for about seven years and can recommend it.

This is one of the local medical centres, it's not as modern looking as some of the others, but the doctors are trustworthy and professional and they have some great services like the Skin Cancer Clinic. There's usually not a very long wait if you've made an appointment, and they bulk bill which is handy. They could get a better range of magazines in though :)

I have called Germon several times over the years when my washing machine or dryer have problems. In my experience I have found they work fast, they are upfront and honest with you, and they know their stuff. Trustworthy and professional service at a decent rate, so thumbs up from me.

In the past seven years I've had someone from Fardell Electrical come whenever there has been an electrical problem. We are renting but it seems our real estate agency is happy with this company's work and prices. I've always found these electricians to be efficient, polite, friendly and fast, so thumbs up from me.

A nice ice creamery with a huge range of flavours, and a whole section of fat-free, low-fat, gelati and so on. They do either waffle cones or regular. Nice sunny decor, looks clean and they have tables and chairs outside for patrons. I've always had friendly service here and enjoyed each visit, nothing bad to report at all!

A good range of icecream and both regular and the yummier waffle cones. The thing we like most is that they do kids-size milkshakes so you don't have to buy regular adult-size ones for your littlies, or worse, try to make the kids share. They give you a little refresher towelette with each icecream which always comes in handy! It's a good position right in the middle of the main street too.
