We had one of the 3 course with matching wines birthday dinner packages delivered yesterday. Very friendly delivery lady. The food was lovely and plentiful, even had the ice for the cocktail at the start.
The communication was very good and there was a choice of 5 things for each course on the menu. 2 cold courses and a main course to do in the oven and microwave. Everything packaged and presented nicely.
We dressed up and used all the good cutlery and crockery so made it a bit special even though we could not enjoy other people's company.

Sonia made a calf head cake for my brother's 60th birthday. This was only from a photo and looked so lifelike no-one wanted to cut the cake. My brother being a dairy farmer was very impressed, the kids were eating the ears as the icing was not the really sweet type you often get. The cake was enjoyed for 30 adult desserts. She delivered the cake on the morning of the party and we transported it to the country.
