My wife and I enjoyed very much the process of upgrading from a fifteen-year-old Falcon wagon to an ASX – our first new vehicle in well over three decades. As seniors savouring our “golden years” we are finding new driving pleasures that resonate with their Facebook cover photo slogan claiming the Mitsubishi SUV is “built for the time of your life”.
In particular, the compact but adequate size, the comprehensive cutting-edge convenient (and fun) technology on the dashboard, all of the safety and automated features, and especially the ease of getting in and out of the car (and parking spaces) make the ASX a winner for THIS TIME in OUR lives. No wonder the model is so popular with retirees. And, if you have young grandchildren, the moon roof and mood lighting are, for them, the cherries on the icing on the cake!
Regardless of whether or not they were personally involved in the actual sale, all of the Berwick Mitsubishi team members we met were extremely welcoming, engaging, friendly and enthusiastic about their work. Troy and Kylie did an exceptional job of listening to and sympathetically understanding our requirements and pleasantly negotiating the deal with smooth and speedy professionalism and not a little charm. In the end, with management support, Troy came up with an offer difficult to refuse. As an expression of appreciation for a very agreeable purchasing experience my wife showered the staff with morning tea cup cakes!
When next we need another car, we will most likely be back to check out Berwick Mitsubishi again but, considering the quality and utility of our new ASX, it appears that time may be a very long way off, measured in multiple tens of thousands of kilometres.
