I had my hair cut and coloured here and was very happy with the result. The cut was stylish and the colour was exactly what I had asked for.

The service was good, and both the owner and the girl who cut my hair were genuinely friendly. I was also offered champagne, which I unfortunately had to decline.

If only I lived locally I would definitely be a regular customer at Velvet.

I feel a little bad rating Cabiria just 3 stars for service. One of the guys that works there is superb. He's friendly and will go out of his way for you as a customer. However there is another guy there sometimes who I find unfriendly and surly. He ignored me once too, and served someone behind me in the queue!

Putting the mixed service to one side, the coffee is great. My partner rates it his favourite Mocha in Brisbane. They use a ganache sauce in the Mocha! The latte is great too.

We've also had breakfast there, and the food was very tasty. I recommend the cheesy eggs (it might be called something else on the menu), although please be prepared that the portions are not huge.

Overall, strongly recommended. Just a shame about the one unfriendly front-of-house member of staff.

Great coffee, and agree with previous comment that the baristas are very friendly. Some even remember your name even if you haven't been for a while.

The little outdoor area is fun to sit down on and people watch, and they have recently added a grass area, which is good for kids to play in.

Babycinos are free, and you get a free coffee if you buy beans.

The milkshakes are delicious, and they also serve Merlo coffee and yummy looking food. I just tried a cake, which was good. I like the fact that they offer organic milk in the shakes too (for a small surcharge).

The decor is good too, and when we were there, there was a baby shower going on. It would be a good place for a kids' party too.

A very friendly and popular yoga studio. A good workout and true to standard Bikram class.

They do a sale every January that makes the cost good value. The rest of the time it is not cheap, but in line with every other yoga studio.

Just wanted to also point out that the class is 90 minutes, not 45 as a previous reviewer said. Just in case you turn up expecting a 45 minute class!

Only point to mention is that ventilation could be improved in the yoga room. This is based on my having practised at other Bikram studios. Most teachers however open the door and fan it to ventilate when needed (not all though it has to be said!)

I regularly buy takeaway coffee here and it is nice, and they are fast with takeaway orders.

Cake is good, with decent portion sizes. Breakfast was good too. I can't fault the food, and the staff are always friendly.

The only negative is that they were out of something I ordered, so made something else as a replacement, which was a cheaper price. I had already paid and they did not offer to refund the difference. I did not raise it as it was less than $5, however I do feel they should have taken the initiative to refund me.

We are regulars here and the food is always delicious. They do deals on some weeknights for half price mains, which makes it good value, however if not using the deal it is a little pricey for a shopping centre restaurant.

Service is excellent every time. Coffee is the best in the area.

Used a voucher for a colour and was very happy with the result. The stylist was professional and friendly, and coffee was nice. I will definitely be going back.

Been there twice. First with a large group, second time just 4 of us. Food was good both times, and portions are generous.

Service was extremely slow the second time. It was a late lunch on a weekend and we were the only customers. Mains took over an hour, which meant the toddler was hungry and we had to give her a snack we had bought from outside. We were not offered anything to give her during the wait for food. There were plenty of kitchen and wait staff that we could see, and there was no cutoff time for lunch, so we were very disappointed at how slow it was.
