always have chickens ready to go, the chips and gravy is so nice, they have a loyalty program and a competition where you can win a free chicken dinner every month.

they have colouring books for children which keeps them busy while you wait for your food, the food is excellent, recommend trying to get a few of the couches to sit on

the coffee here i found tastes more like warm milk than actual coffee, for the price paid for it it would have been cheaper to go elsewhere in bendigo

we used to love going here when we lived in castlemaine but after a few run ins with a very rude waitress when we asked what the specials were and were told cant you read its on the board ( we were outside and reading the special board through the peoples heads and glass doors is not something i can do) we stopped going, a pity because the food there is excellent, recommend the saff burger if you can hack the rude waitress

very nice place to relax in and eat some thai food, pity about the lack of parking around it, can never find a park! good prices if you go there as a couple or by yourself

anything in this place with black bean sauce is great, i like the beef and black bean, good prices, service can be a little slow during busy hours

this is the first place i ever had a deep fried mars bar from, i didnt like them but it was a novelty for us at the time living so close to a place that would cook your order and have it ready for you when you arrived, standard fish and chips and good prices

have been here a few times for take away foods, nothing too special though but still ok all the same, there are many businesses that are similar in bendigo

open very early, when i went there they sold newspapers as well unsure if this is still happening, good location near the hospital, when you are in hospital its a nice change to walk there for something a little different

great pomegranate flavoured gelato, the perfect treat after walking around the lake near the shop, they also sell macarons now and various slices. if they ever make it again the carrot ice cream is worth buying
