Freshly squeeze juices with no ice! That's what I call a proper juice bar! A huge variety of fruit and veggie (think celery and beetroot!) juices to choose from, and if you like any of those you can also make your own juice! They also sell yogurt that is very smooth and creamy (must try!). It's had to rate the service cos it's not a cafe or anything but you'd expect the nice friendly customer service you'd get from DJs. GREAT value for its quality and you can get a loyalty card to get ur 10th drink/yogurt free as well.

Went there on a Saturday for lunch and had a great view of Darling Harbour. Scallops for entree was sooo yummy and fresh. We had fish of the day (Atlantic Salmon) with couscous and it was one of the best I've ever had in awhile. Portions are big as I see heaps of tables around us got takeaway. Children friendly as well.
Will definitely return.

Very professional. Relaxing environment with top service (as always from the Japanese ^_^). My face was much clearer and appeared brighter when I came out of the beauty salon. I could see that the skincare is effective and the machine (the one that i had was ultrasound?) helped by pre-cleansed. Highly recommended!

Stayed there for 2 nights during Easter break. Very convinent, just a short walk to cafes and CBD. We also got upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment from a studio for free! Very clean and great value (even before the upgrade). Will stay there again when I come to Melbourne next time.

Authentic ramen but not really one of the best in Sydney to me, maybe it's a bit too salty for my liking and the stock isn't thick enough. Service is minimal as expected but the food comes really fast. Love their chicken karaage though with generous dollop of jap mayo. There's always a long queue outside but people eat and go so the wait isn't too long.
Wouldn't go out of my way just to try the ramen but won't mind for a quick winter meal when I'm around North Sydney.

It was my first time having my hair done in this boutique Japanese hair salon on Harris St. My wash, cut and blow dry took about an hour and I enjoyed every moment of it! The hair salon itself is so cosy and welcoming it feels like you've stepped into someone's home. No loud pumping music but soft relaxing tunes. I was offered herbal tea during my arrived and they even GHDed my hair with no extra cost while teaching me how to style my hair with patience. Very nice soft feminine cut (what I requested) with very skilled hair stylist.
Unlike other popular asian hair salon, they never try to hard sell you hair products so I'm very pleased with that (as I believe it truly ruins the whole experience), it is also slightly cheaper too.
Suitable for people who is looking for a Japanese hair salon with care and attention.

I had a fantastic colour, cut and lovely blow dry from Sara @ John Azzi and have received heaps of compliments however it took 3 hours for all of that means I won't be going there for a regular visit but more of a weekend treat when I have the time. One major let down was the lady who washed the hair and gave me the head massages. It was literally pouring water into my ears and the “head massages” was more like putting her fingers through my hair for 3 minutes.
Happy with the outcome and quality (of the actual hair) but not the service.
Will return but won't be a regular for sure.

I've been to a few beauty salons and day spas for facials and massages and I must say this hidden gem has to be one of the best in Sydney! Kosara ensures I walk out feeling pampered and rejuvenated. She was very skilled with her face and body massages. Their Hot & Cold Face Silk Stone massage is exceptional and I have never experienced such fantastic face massage before. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep during the facial. She also did a skin analysis with care and attention before my treatment and custom blended a facial mask for my skin. Kosara is very professional and hygienic as I noticed she always washes her hand after coming back in the room (which other beauty therapists in other salons forget and it disgusts me). My skin glows, my body relaxed and my mind cleared every time I visit BOKO.
Highly recommended!

Thanks BOKO!
