We used this company for our wedding limos and would not recommend them to anyone. On the day of my wedding
the driver arrived and came to the door and spoke with my mother, asking for her to clarify where we were getting married. My mother told him where we were getting married (which was in the city, on the Yarra River)

We all got in the car and the driver proceeded to drive into the city, However after 45 minutes I began to get concerned as I knew we were not nearing my wedding venue. The driver took us to the complete wrong wedding venue in Kew, rather than in the city. We were 25 minutes away from my actual venue.

There had been numerous emails between the staff at CBD limos and myself, where I confirmed the exact address of our wedding venue and they acknowledged this. Once we realised we had been taken to the wrong venue the driver seemed rather confused, and proceeded to ask me (the bride) for the address for the Rowing Club. Again this was previously given to the company two weeks before.

Due to this mistake, we were over 45 minutes late to my wedding ceremony. My ceremony had to be moved indoors (it was initially outdoors), my guests all had to sit around and wait for 45 minutes for me to arrive and I lost over 45 minutes of photography and videography time, and my entire day was then spent rushing as we were running so far behind schedule. At no fault of our own.

The driver also made an error when driving us to our reception venue, and did not apologise at all. He honestly seemed as if he did not care at all that he had made so many mistakes which severely impacted my wedding day.

It would seem logical as a company that offers a limo service that all of your drivers should be aware of the address of where they are going (especially for a wedding!). It would also seem logical that they would already have a planned route for the day, and furthermore a secondary route in the case of severe traffic or an accident. This should not be up to the bride, and her photographer to provide the correct address and furthermore direct him to the correct address.

When I spoke to the company after our wedding a communicated how upset we were and how this unprofessional attitude impacted our wedding day he was not at all apologetic or concerned. We asked for a refund of half of the money we paid for the limo, as we think that is only fair considering the major mistake that was made on the day. The staff spoke to my husband once on the phone about the issue and was quite rude, and then said they would call back. We have not heard back since. I have called and left messages on 4 separate occasions and have sent 4 separate emails, none of the staff at CBD limos are returning any of our calls or emails and are refusing to give us any money back.

The CBD limos website says 'At CBD Limousines, we know how important your wedding day is and so we pride ourselves on delivering the best service without a hitch. No matter where in Melbourne you have your wedding, we can get there and back in style and ALWAYS ON TIME! Plus all of our drivers are highly professional and know how important it is to make you feel relaxed and glamour throughout your journey.' However we can guarantee after an absolutely horrendous experience that this is not the case.

I would never recommend this company to anyone, they are unprofessional and take no accountability for any mistakes that they make.
