As a single mother, the last thing you need is a plumbing problem. Tradies intuitively know you don't know what the hell is going on, and many seem happy to exploit your vulnerability. Not only that, but you have to take the whole day off work so that the plumber can show up in his own sweet time, so you lose a day's pay before you even get slapped with the massive bill. Im soooo happy to say that it just wasn't llike that when my toilet backed up, and I called Sven's Plumbing following up on a girlfriend's recommendation. Sven was personable, professional, punctual and left my bathroom as sparkling clean as when he found it, and fixed the problem within the hour. And he was super sensitive about 'what he found in my loo!! I won't hesitate to call him next time nor to recommend his service to all the mums at school pick up. Don't histiate either - you won't be sorry.

Ive been into yoga for years but NEVER quite like this - Im on my mat at Cultivate Calm just about every day these days and still cant quite get enough. I think its the combination of the space itself (the collective energy of almost one hundred years of happy cinema-goers has clearly left a lasting impression); the wonderful staff who seem to have been hand-selected for their delicate balance between earthed and ethereal, informative and invigorating; the flexible timetable offering a convenient class whenever I can squeeze one in, the affordable rates which mean I don't have to budget how often I practice, and the colourful community of yogis that gather there - it's certainly a winning combination if you ask me!!!
