Complete Butchers. Damaged my Car. Removed and then reinstalled my old oil filter! NEVER take your car here.

Too my Car in for a Service June 2022. I usually perform Oil Changes Myself but due to some present health issues took it toi GG Automotive to take care of as it also had a check engine light issue that needed addressing.

3 Weeks and just 230km after the Service Large amounts of oil started appearing on my driveway and Garage. Upon inspecting the cause of this the first thing I found that a Huge hole had been roughly cut using a hacksaw or recip saw into the front splash Guard exposing the oil filter. Apparently removing 6 Screws and Spash Guard to access the oil filter was too diffucult for Graeme and his Staff. They'd rather do cut holes in your car instead.

Oil was running off the oil Filter. I removed it to find that it was one that I had fitted myself in 2020 as I always mark it with the date installed. It had been removed and Refitted and was tightened down so much that the gasket completely failed.
