Had a blocked sewer line from tree roots. Took 5 days to fix ( mostly digging) at $212 ph + gst! as they charge by the half hour ( $66 per half hour for the plumber and $40 for the helper). Total cost $9000!! No quote beforehand as scope of work "unknow". Couldnt stop work half way through but if I had an idea of the cost,, would never has proceeded. The plumbers however did a very good job and were punctual but at $3.50 a minute - totally outrageous as no deduction for rest , toilet or lunch breaks .
