Beautiful cinema, great staff very friendly, but gold lounge menu is not up to standard. There menu was always far superior to all the other gold lounges, but now the others have changed there menus, and there food is excellent, but Midland has lowered there standard of food, it is more like lunch bar food, not what you would expect for the price. Please if they read the reviews listen to your customers, we have been going here for years, but we might go to a restaurant first in future

Not real impressed with our visit to Midland gold lounge we have been going there for many years and since the refurbishment the food has been less than satisfactory, they have either been cold , frozen , burnt and sometimes inedible and several stuff ups of when the food has been brought out, sometimes all at once and sometimes not at all, and considering you are paying restaurant prices for the food you would expect better. Plates are not cleared off the tables till near the end. We have been a number of times since it was upgraded with the assumption that maybe a few teething problems and things would improve, but unfortunately they are declining. And when you are paying over $400 not including tickets I think I would rather go to a restaurant and then go home and watch a movie with some homemade popcorn. Such a shame as Midland gold lounge was the best, and we have been to them all. I hope things change as I have heard from others saying similar comments.
