This review is for Motor Hospital, Newmarket QLD

It pains me to give this review as I had attempted to settle this matter with the Motor Hospital (MH) by a certain date last week. Despite advising me twice I would have an outcome, I still heard nothing which seems true to form, as evidenced by my experience with them, outlined below. I am also lodging a complaint with Fair Trading QLD and I am sharing my experiences via reviews so consumers can avoid the distress I have been through. Please refer to the full outline of my experience on my Google review, but my concerns with the MH are: • Poor customer service. Although [Retracted names] are generally pleasant to deal with, you will see several incidences of failed return phone calls/emails & unfulfilled requests. Motor Hospital implied I was foolish in purchasing the car and that the best think I could do was "bin it". You are welcome to your opinions on cars, but I found this very upsetting and judgemental to hear when I was already under strain • Questionable mechanical work. I was twice given my car back improperly repaired. You also issued a roadworthy on a car that was most certainly not roadworthy. Motor Hospital said the car was safe to drive, however it got stuck in the middle of the busy intersection & required pushing before a bus came down the hill. Certainly not safe by any means. • Lack of professional integrity. If Motor Hospital believes the car should be “binned” why go ahead and incur $1498.40 of additional costs? Or any costs at all? At least tell me this opinion professionally and respectfully & give me the option to progress. I was also told the “car drove beautifully” twice which clearly it didn’t as within 600m it was displaying a serious problem. See above as per comments saying it was “safe to drive”. Motor Hospital said “no-one wants to touch them”. Why not simply politely suggest I take my business elsewhere or refer me to someone else instead of choosing to incur costs on a car you do not believe in or did not have the skills to fix? It’s hard to not interpret this as a money grab of a vulnerable client. • Unauthorised work on vehicle. Several times since I engaged the MH I had asked to always be consulted to approve work that would incur cost. This second portion was never approved, & had I been given the opinion of Motor Hospital, I would have taken it to someone who cared more. The full outline of my experience can be read in the images on my Google Review. https://www.google.com.au/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=motor+hospital&*&lrd=0x6b91575df2eef45d:0x5e8728e4411c7c14,1,
