The place was quite full with 3 separate birthday parties at the same time. The owner greeted us and offered us either a table inside or he could set up a table outside near the fire, obviously we chose outside. It was so romantic and the pizza came out very quickly and was amazing despite there being so many people. After dinner we were offered marsh mellows to roast over the fire. We will definitely be back there to try out the new Asian menu.

the food and drinks available are amazing but the real draw card is that you are surrounded by amazing animals. From the tiny fawn hiding in the bushes in the courtyard to the giant ostriches out in their enclosure with the big red stags and emu's. you can purchase a bucket of feed for $5 and hand feed all the animals which keeps the kids entertained for hours. there are also goats and sheep in with the deer and big emu. chooks, roosters and emu chicks wander around doing their own thing and there are often baby goats (kids) as well as little chickens out the back. each time i have been there i have absolutely loved it and fed every type of animal they had. I loved the gift shop with heaps of deer and emu related jewelry as well as toys for the kids and high end hand bags and purses. I go back every time I can, check out the views from the decking. LOVE IT

saw that they made mango lassy, so we decided to have pizza there only to discover they couldn't make me a mango lassy. we went to the beach to eat our pizza and it was really good! try the island special! the next night i was walking past the shop as we had already had tea and i see the lady and walk up to her to tell her the pizza was great. she immediately said i can make you a mango lassy now if you still want one, as i was disappointed not to get one the night before. it was wonderful! the next night we went there and i had the rose lassy that they bought out in a pint glass and made me feel very special, and lamb rogan josh with saffron rice. authentic indian that wasn't so hot it burnt your taste buds off, YUM!!

we had an amazing 4 night stay over the superbike weekend and usually everything is booked out and outrageously expensive. I was surprised that the beach was literally at the end of glen isla court. everything was exactly as described on their website and made for a very romantic stay, as my now fiancee took me for a walk on the beach and proposed in the moonlight. the girls at the desk were so exited they gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and late checkout. we will certainly be back next year.
