I had not been at this club for years and was told that it had been renovated and got a better chef. Tried it last week on a Sunday and what a surprise. Had a beef n reef steak $29- fantastic- mouth watering, they had a very good selection of other foods at very reasonable prices and also had $8- roasts. There was a kids play area with TV and xbox in it and if you had older kids, then there is an oval for them to run around on and you can keep your eye on them from the outdoor dining areas. We decided to stay around as they had entertainment on and what started out as a short lunch ended up being a great day with us also staying for dinner. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful. Whilst I played the pokies ,the hubby placed some bets on TAB. The facilities were very impressive, clean, new and modern. We were very happy with our day and will now make it a regular outing as we can use their courtesy bus and have a few more drinks. Thoroughly enjoyable day.

Have had Jason and his team construct huge brick rendered fence and rendered my whole house in weber render system. I love the weber render, no need to paint it as you choose a colour and its mixed in. Nice thick coating, I am already benefitting from the insulation effect. Very happy with the quality of his work, he always arrived when he said he would and he didnt leave the place in a mess like other trades. I am very happy with the final result. I paid a little more that other render quotes, but when you add the cost of painting on top of these quotes, you may have well paid the extra and used this new weber system.

The staff are very friendly and I had been somewhat satisfied with the quality. The main reason that I and other friends will not go back is that you are there for so long. I was booked in for my last service at 11am, I sat at the front for 1 hour and was taken over to a chair were I sat for a further 20mins. Finally got started on, then got interrupted and waiting. Well it took just on 5 hours to have a trim, regrowth, wash and blow dry. This was not the first time this happened, they usually overbook and then have customers sitting around whilst they rush from one to another. Go there is time is no problem as they offer some good specials, but if you are timepoor like most of us, spend the extra $20-30 and go somewhere else.

I purchased the lamb souvlaki, had just moved from Melbourne and loved the store at Templestowe. However, the meat was so grissly and chooy that I couldnt eat it. I was so dissappointed. It has been nearly a year since visiting that store, will not recommend it. Very disappointed. Will leave my souvlaki eating to trips to Melbourne, unfortunately Qld has got it right yet.

Purchased combo chicken deal- chips were soggy and just warm, the chicken was very greasy, more that normal. One good thing though- the drink was cold. Never go back to KFC Helensvale again.

Have been there 3 times too many- stupid me. First time was to have my hair done, given quote on service which was OK, then on payment told me that I needed to pay $70 more cause a snr stylist took over and the junior did not complete it. Second time was to have my acrylic nails done, how boring was she. She told me she had a quick lesson in nail 2 weeks previous as the normal girl was going on holidays and that after her stint as nail tech she was never going to touch it again. Well, those nails stayed on for a 3 days and when I went back they apologised and advised that she had been sacked, the repaired them but not much better. Went back several months later for gel nails- this time done by the nail tech/hairdresser. They lifted at the front of the nails and at the cuticle by the next day and when I went back, the girl who did mine was not there. So a hairdresser told me she could fix them. She only filed the spot where the gel had lifted and broke on the end of my nail, then brushed on a gel top coat. Still didnt fix the lifting and my nails are now lop sided and half is just the french tip with a coat of top coat gel. Well they didnt last 2 days before they cracked and I had to file them back. Complete rubbish. Will never go back there for any service.

The staff at Lighting Empire are very helpful, they certainly know their products and will go that extra mile to make you happy. They offer quality products and very reasonable prices and found that if they dont have what I want, they will try to get it in. They guys have all the latest in lighting, I have bought everything from ceiling fans, led strip lighting to remote control colour changing led light globes. Very happy with the service and products. Highly recommend them, thats why I have written this.
