Popped in for a quick hot choc on Saturday after lunch and even though it was quite busy we were able to have a table inside. Staff were friendly and our order arrived promptly. Can't go past the top deck hot chocolate.

I had heard mixed reviews but wanted to try it for myself. We went for dinner on a Sunday and didn't have a booking. We were given a table with no waiting and the staff were very friendly and got our drinks right away. The steak was cooked to order and was tasty.
No complaints here.

I have heard so much about this place and finally got to try it. I can't wait to go back again.
We went on a Tuesday night and it was not too busy. We got a table within a few minutes of arriving. There are some good choices on the menu and it's all made fresh to order. Our food was ready within about 30 minutes.
Can't wait to go back again!

I popped in for a take away hot choc one afternoon mid week and it was not very busy however service was slower than I expected.
The counter and tables were clean and there were plenty of staff on. One staff member did take the rubbish out through the store and when he returned started to prepare an order and did not wash his hands.

Might skip this place for a little while.

I phoned and made a booking 24 hours prior to when we were after a table. After speaking with a staff member she advised that even though they only take bookings for certain sitting times that they would be able to accommodate my request of a slightly later booking time. I provided my name and number, confirmed the number of guests and she advised me that she had made a note next to our booking stating that we would be slightly later than the sitting time.

We arrived the next night 10 minutes prior to our booking to be told that as we had not arrived at the start of the seating time our table was given away. I explained to the staff member who had been quite rude to us that the lady I had spoken to had noted that we were going to be slightly late and that it would not be a problem. I was then informed that there was never any booking under our name and that there would be a 45 minute wait for a table.

I explained that we were not able to wait as we had a commitment later in the evening and asked if there was anything else that could be done seeing as we had made the booking and discussed the situation with the waitress. The young waitress was again very rude and said that we would have to wait. We then explained that we were unable to do that and our party of 6 then left.

I was very unhappy with the way that we were treated and spoken to. To be told two different stories when asked about our booking when we arrived shows the incompetence of the staff that work there.

I am unable to comment on the food or the prices as we never made it that far.

We saw this had recently opened up in Kingston and thought why not give it a try. It is quite a large restaurant with plenty of seating. We did not have a reservation however I think it would get quite busy on a Friday or Saturday night so perhaps make a booking to avoid missing out.

The menu has quite a bit to pick from. We went for a selection from the Tapas menu and shared. Everything that we tired was amazing. We were not having to wait long at all and the food was coming out as soon as we had finished a dish. I think we will have to go again to try more of the dishes.

Reasonably priced. Perhaps a little on the more expensive side.

Wait staff were also helpful in explaining the menu, making sure that all the dishes were good and that we were happy with our selections. They are also more than happy to suggest if you can't make up your mind.

We went here for brunch on Sunday and it was very busy which is always a good sign. We were seated outside as it was still quite a nice day in Canberra and our drinks were delivered very quickly. The staff were helpful when we had questions about the menu and were happy to adapt some of the items for us.
The servings were a generous size and they took into account the special requests that we had made. We did not wait very long at all for our food and it was so hot and made fresh.

Bitter Sweet also does amazing giant sized cookies. Perfect for sharing or just keeping all for yourself.

Went here on Saturday night for dinner as we were not after anything too fancy at all. We did not have a booking and it was still quite early so no trouble getting a table. It did get a little busier when we were eating. Plenty of staff on so no problems with service.
Drinks came out quickly, food was fresh and hot and plenty of it. Average prices. I would be happy to eat here again.

I popped in here yesterday morning for a coffee. The staff were lovely. They were very friendly, speedy service and my order was just the way I like it.

It is nice and cosy with places to sit inside. Excellent location to be able to just pop in and grab a coffee on your way past or to be able to sit and read the paper.

I will be popping back in again.

We went here for a drink after work and ended up staying for dinner.

Thirst has a lot of space indoors and a nice outdoor area also. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful with suggestions on dishes and wines. The prices were also good for the food that we received. The food was hot and fresh and had just the right amount of spice. The chicken & basil stir fry and the beef massaman was a good combination. The vegetarian spring rolls were also very tasty.

I would be very happy to eat here again!
