The staff here are so helpful. We only have to mention the products we need and they stock them for us. It is so great to have a health food store in Richmond. I used to have to go to Westgarth!

This review is for 6 Degrees Ark, Richmond VIC

6 Degrees Ark is a "slow" salon, as in slow food. They take time to make your experience as relaxing as possible. Start with a perfumed head massage, shampoo in a recliner massage chair, and great cutters. Aveda products are high quality. Not cheap, but I'd rather go without something else and have a great haircut.

Kim Dao was able to diagnose my skin problems and treat them well. My skin was in a terrible state due to food and chemical allergies. It is now much stronger, firmer and plumper. All the dermatitis has disappeared. Kim has prescribed very carefully for me, and although the creams are expensive they last a very long time. Kim trials cosmetics on my skin before I purchase and her eyeshadow range (Australian) is absolutely beautiful. Makeup is about average for a quality range, I'd estimate. Cost varies according to treatment

This review is for MiniMovers, Rocklea QLD

Minimovers moved my disabled cousin from a hostel to her own home. They dismantled TV and computer equipment and reinstalled it at other end. Nothing was too much trouble. The organisation of the day was efficient and helpful. They also moved my daughter and did a brilliant job on a house move.

This review is for Dr Michelle Tellus, Kew VIC

Dr Tellus is a specialist rheumatologist and one of the few who will treat Fibromyalgia patients. She is incredibly supportive, patient oriented, open to alternative therapies and the only doctor whom I have ever had who is fun to go and see.

This review is for Ashbrook Longevity Clinic & Medical Institute, South Yarra VIC

This clinic situated within a larger complex, has been instrumental in helping me defeat a chronic debilitating condition. Dr. Tony Bartone, a GP, works with a Naturopath and a Nurse to support the bodily systems that are under stress. It is a finely tuned, detailed approach that doesn't offer a quick fix, but rather a solid rebuidling of foundations. Regular blood tests and checks for muscle mass are done and supplements adjusted individually on the basis of those tests. I canot believe the difference between my health now and my condition last August

Staff are firendly and solicitous. Haircut and colour were good, a soft perm was excellent. Premises are large, parking is close by. Tea or coffee are served brewed in a pot for each client. More recently, I had had problems with two stylists just not listening to what I wanted, but my last cut was good and I am very happy with it. Next cut will be with a new stylist though. Will keep you posted on that one. Price is for cut only, but they do have a loyalty program. After ten cuts you get one haircut at half price.

Rumbles Cakes are great and the service is very good. New cakes are regularly added to the selection. At Christmas their mini puddings were delicious. They have introduced gluten and flour free cakes. Their chocolate muffin log is a steal for $6.00.

This review is for Howards Storage World (Vic Gardens), Richmond VIC

Howard's have excellent storage solutions and the Manager is very knowledgeable about his stock and product. We live in a flat with limited storage room and have found great ideas there, one of the best is a pull out clothes line that fits in a bathrom and folds flat to the wall when not in use.

This review is for Bridge Rd Florist, Richmond VIC

verified email - 06 Dec 2007

This florist is open 24/7. It does a thriving trade so flowers are always fresh. Arrangements are lovely and you can buy flowers by the bunch. they often have some pots as well: Chrysanthemums for Mother's Day, cyclamens in season and pointsettias for Christmas. Lots of greenery and branches for modern arrangements too. Will help you minimise costs where possible.
