I don't want you to be writing a review on Glenvill as I am.

One of the biggest investments in your life and what a mistake building with Glenvill.
We decided to build our dream home after years of renovating and thought we did our research.
We came across Glenvill and saw their Balwyn display home. We decided that's what we want to build an exact replica of. We had several meetings at the display home walking through and discussing exactly what we wanted. We wanted the upgrade of the line interior and exterior, costing 700k plus.

They came to our home on several occasions to sign forms. When I asked if the things I wanted upgraded were included, they would show us the specifications and advise that it was included. They used the building terminology. We trusted them, however our home doesn't look like the Glenvill display home in Balwyn.
2 years later we moved in and we have had nothing but heart ache and disappointment to the point where now I have to write a review to warn you PLEASE DON'T BUILD WITH THEM.

We have had our parquetry floors lifting, major cracks, doors letting in rain, roof pipes not sealing therefore causing rain to leak into the roof, grout in the shower are coming off and tiles are not in line, paint work is patchy and no primer is used before they paint the window frames, the list goes on and on.

They send handy men out that are not qualified to do repairs. They simply seem to cut corners. The men that work for Glenvill say nothing but bad things about their employer, which goes to show not even their staff are happy with the way they are building the homes, cutting corners and repairs.

When you ask them to come back to fix repairs because it wasn't done correctly by the handyman, they give you the Building Guide Lines spill by stating the sections of the clause "that's with in the building guide lines".
Until this very day every repair they have attended to is unsatisfactory and I can honestly say they actually do not care.

We have paid trades men to fix their mistakes and at this present moment we are in discussion for them to fix our peeling window frames because they didn't use a primer prior to painting the windows. They said they don't have to use a primer because its in the paint, however I spoke to Dulux Trades where they buy their paint from and they said they highly recommend primer is used on new frames regardless. They sent us another building guidelines quote. Pathetic.
They sent out trades men to fill in the large cracks. The trades men decided to go around the whole house and cement it in sections were it wasn't necessary nor did we request. They made a mess of the walls and ground.

The painter came and started patching up the repairs and not to my surprise there is a color variation. Old paint with new paint that is a different shade. They said they will only paint sections of our home which will once again have a color variation.

Our floors are still lifting and you can see the holes where the putty was filled. They didn't even bother to sand it back once puttied and re stain it.

Overall, Glenvill is an appalling, in-compassionate group of inexperienced trades men.
