My son was given a provisional diagnosis of Autism at 2 years of age by his pediatrician.
Over the next 2 years we saw two speech therapists and I became very despondent with speech therapy and questioned the benefits of it. I was left feeling confused about whether my son had autism or not and what needed to be done. My son is about to turn 5 and we have been seeing Sally-Ann for the past 10 months. He has made huge improvements over this time. Looking back to where we have come from and where we are now gives me so much optimism for my sons future.
