APPALLING PRICES!!!! I have just purchased 3 scripts from North Ringwood Pharmacy and was charged $60.80. I went there anticipating that the prices would be slightly more than a discount pharmacy, however being in a hurry, I thought I was willing to incur the expected extra cost - not realising that the difference would be $40.10!!!!! What I paid $60.80 for at the North Ringwood Pharmacy would have cost me $19.50 at a discount pharmacy. I didn't discover this difference in price until I got home. I tried to telephone them to discuss these price variations but the number wouldn't ring. Given the enormous price difference I drove back to the pharmacy, and was met with nothing but excuses and a complete lack of care. The pharmacist was quick to say that she didn't set the prices and that they don't price match and they wouldn't take the medication back, but did not even slightly acknowledge why I would be exacerbated by the price difference. I will never go back to this pharmacy and encourage anyone that values their dollars, to avoid it also. This is why Chemist Warehouse is so big and will continue to grow, because North Ringwood Pharmacy (and others) have prices that aren't even remotely competitive. I always like to support the small guy, but in this instance the small guy is a massive rip-off.
