Put in an application to rent a house. The staff seemed to indicate that it was unlikely that I would get it without saying why. They said they would call within 3 days with the outcome. They never did. Compare this with Judd White who called to say I was not successful probably because the owners preferred fewer people (4) for a 2 room apartment.

Went in to buy a line trimmer. Staff were able to answer all my questions and were patient in showing me how to use the line trimmer. Bought an Echo from them. Good service.

Went in with a friend for a facial. Therapist did a basic face analysis using a machine that highlights the dry areas, oily areas etc. Facial included a hot stone massage which was quite pleasant. Always wanted to try that but was afraid that it would be uncomfortable. Satisfactory service. Recommended some products but were not too pushy about it.

Went in for a pair of glasses for my son who had broken his. He could not decide on which pair he liked and finally picked a pair. He found a pair in a catalogue that he liked. They offered to bring it in for him to have a look - no obligation to buy. Also did a thorough eye check unllike some optometrists who seem more interested in selling glasses than testing eyes. Highly recommended.

Good selection of breads, cakes and pastries. They have samples of bread for you to taste which is great for trying new types of bread. My favourite is the sunflower bread, delicious with a little butter.

TV had recurring moments when the sound cut out and there were squares of colour instead of a picture on the screen. Techinician came out and said that it was probably due to inconsistency in digital TV reception rather than a faulty part. Showed me how to check the reception. Satisfactory service.

The chicken was satisfactory but the fish was shocking, at $18, there were 4 or 5 tiny pieces, definitely not an acceptable portion for a main. I went with 3 friends and 2 vow never to step in there again!

Spicy Salt and Pepper Squid is supposed to be one of their good dishes. It was crispy but the flavour was very mild and unsatisfactory. Ordered Clams in XO Sauce. THis was bad, it was basically a black bean sauce but the chef insisted that it was XO with a bit of black bean sauce. XO sauce should be spicy with a hint of dried shrimps flowing through.

We ordered 4 tapas, prawns in sherry butter sauce, roasted lamb ribs, spinach and cheese croquettes and chicken on skewers. We were happy with all of them but the favourite was the prawns. A bit unusual in flavour. Not many Spanish restaurants around and I hope to go back soon.

The ambiance is good for a quiet dinner. Enjoyed the Garlic Fried Rice which was fragrant without being too oily.
