My elderly dog recently had to have delicate surgery and the service and care we received from the staff was exceptional. I was kept up to date with my dog's situation by phone and when I went to collect her the operation and how to administer her medication were explained carefully explained. She was very well taken care of and she is well on the way to a full recovery. Thanks!
For a great beachside dining experience my top pick would be Beachcomber Cafe. Pop in for breakfast or the $25 lunch special - an entree and a main, with a drink - or splash out on the amazing seafood platter. The food is fresh and well presented, the staff are friendly and the views of the bay are spectacular. Ride your bike along the boardwalk and pull over for a smoothie or an ice-cream, or sit inside by the heater and try the chilli mussels (as hot as you like). It's a great place to bring overseas visitors, too. I highly recommend it.
