I've had reasonable experiences in the past, but recent purchases were very disappointing.
Their product descriptions are reliably INACCURATE and/or LAZY.

Buying from interstate, pre-inspection wasn't really a viable option, so I went with the description, 'used', and 'as-is', with superficial research online(for the wrongly described product!). We drove 900km to pick-up.

Only 'used' was accurate. They forgot to mention one item had been heavily dropped & damaged internally, and could not possibly operate again - ever. The second item was sold as an 'XXX', whereas it was in fact an 'OOO'.
It would help a lot if they could catalogue the products accurately, with informative photos, along with the compliance plate / model & serial number - so the buyer can research the product.

CAUTION: They should not sell electrical appliances with a plug attached - unless it has been certified as safe to operate. Mine weren't tagged -or- safe!

RECOMMENDATIONS: Only buy if you can inspect. GRAYS should improve their product listings.
Lying by omission is not a defence. As-is must be supported by an accurate description.

I'm not the only one caught here... the underbidder on both items was only 10% below my winning bids - it could have been them just as easily.

GRAYSONLINE - raise your act. I was lucky, in that I could dismantle and rebuild one item to a re-saleable standard. The other $350 goes into hard waste.

Approximate cost: $800
