As a frontline worker, my second Covid Vaccination was due next week (Tuesday). My first dose was in March. I had booked early to ensure I could get the date correct and even called them to confirm a week ago. With one full business day notice (called today, Monday off and appointment early Tuesday) they called to cancel my appointment due to my age (under 50). As a frontline worker in emergency health, this is disgusting. After speaking to the Covid hotline, they informed me that this decision was likely management based as they have no legal reason to refuse my vaccination. Absolutely disgusted. Not able to call head office as none of their listed numbers seem to work.
