We had planned on having dinner at this restaurant as my husband is a qualified Italian chef and enjoys quality Italian food and had been recommended Mammas. We went to check in my Husband and I were welcomed but when the Matradee looked at our 14 old son she demanded his student ID in a demeaning manner and with an open hand in his face she moved into his personal space and said he is not 14 and I doubt he can eat $20k worth of food to cover the fines.
We did not have his student ID as he is 14yrs old and his school renews it every new year.
When I found his year 10 school enrolment email for next year, I showed her this and his Medicare info.
I thanked her for calling me a liar and turned to leave when she said in front of customers you can leave now sweetie. As we were leaving we overheard and saw her ridiculing me to other patrons.
We have never been so disrespected by anyone and it is because of this we will never set foot there again.
