I've wanted a shed for a long time and have gone to several shed makers and looked at their products. Most were not to my liking ,especially the way they were constructed. The "HIghline" sheds that I saw were very impressive, I have a friend who has one, no trusses to speak of but I did not like the fact that the shed was bolted to the concrete floor. Nearly every person I spoke to about the construction of a shed said that the best way to build it was to concrete the posts into the ground and then pour in the concrete floor around the posts to lock the whole lot in. This was also my view of a strongly built shed.
A good friend of mine told me to see Coastline sheds. His brother had one built by them and it was well built.
Although Coastline Sheds were 40 kilometres from where I lived I went and saw them,They were out in the "sticks".
Best decision I have ever made.
Phil the salesman,what can i say about him? What a great guy he is. I wanted a certain size shed and after a bit of discussion he asked if I could fit in a bigger shed in my yard.
Of course I could, so we discussed details and my 18 metre by 8 metre shed was born and not as expensive as I thought it was going to be.
The construction is very solid, much more rigid than I anticipated with a good pitched roof. My friends cannot believe how much bracing it has with comments like...it's not going to blow away in a gale is it?
Phil made us feel very relaxed while discussing details and gave us valuable advice, we went back a couple of times to query things,always greeted warmly.
Rene', also a very friendly and accommodating person. I spoke to him on several occasions and he made sure that the shed was delivered on the specified date. Every thing was delivered, nothing was missing. Hundreds of bolts,screws and parts, everything fitted together nicely.
The shed was completed about two months ago.
I cannot thank these two gentlemen enough.
I phoned Rene' to thank him for a great product, every man needs a shed, a Coastline Shed. If I had to build another shed I know who is going to build it.
