What a great place to have breakfast on a Saturday morning! I was working in South Yarra early one morning thinking that I'd be looking at a 7-Eleven for breakfast when I stumbled across Zumbo's patissier in South Yarra. I new they do sweets but didn't know they rang of tasty savoury dishes they have as well. I had a Pork, Early Grey and lemon sausage roll and am happy to report that it was delicious, from the buttery, flaky pastry to the interesting mix of flavours.

I also new that I would be unable to go home without a sweet treat for the better half and the biggest problem I had here was what to get :).

The prices were a little higher than I'm used to and the coffee wasn't anything special but I'll be back when I can.

Good consistent Italian food with a friendly atmosphere. This is my default go-to restaurant for mid week meals. Great priced take-away Pizza as well and the specials pizza is always something I look forward to trying.

I was surprised by this great little coffee shop, with an interesting selection of hot food and great service I will be using this for business meetings for a long time to come.

Went for lunch during the week and the place was buzzing, with free WiFi for customers as well. I had a mushroom burger with goats cheese and a drink and the burger was exceptional, the mushrooms and cheese tasted fantastic together.

Best chicken shop in Melbourne. Big call I know, but with 0.50c dim sims and potato cakes and the best chips around, always crisp and salty just the way a good chip should be.

Don't expect a smile, just expect great tasting (not healthy :) food served quickly. They will even cut the chicken into 4 or 8 pieces on request.

Ray and James are run the best mechanics shop I have found in 20 years of driving. They are honest, sometimes brutally when required and always work hard to get the best fix for a problem.

Torque have fixed problems that other mechanics had left behind. They have fixed everything from my air-conn on an old Suzuki to a transfer case issues on a Liberty.

Can't recommend these guys highly enough.

This is our regular Friday night shop, we keep coming back because they always have fresh oil and fast service. Even on a flat out night they never take much longer than a quiet night. I don't know how they do it but it keeps us coming back.
