I was looking for a company that is trustworthy and will provide a quality outcome to fix a botched paint job for my townhouse. DJ Soko came highly recommended by a friend who has used them before. Zlatan, the painter from DJ Soko Painting Services, was very honest and genuine when giving me a quote. He also showed me the big jobs they are working on and examples of finished jobs.
The team was very careful and thorough in preparing the surface and fixing any damaged plasters and woodwork. They took good care in protecting my furniture, existing fittings and my new carpet. They also vacuum and cleaned up after themselves. The service and quality they provided were way exceeded my expectation.
I wish I had known them before I engaged the first painter. I will use their services from now on for any painting jobs required.
I was very impressed by their professionalism. They were upfront, honest and maintained good communication. They have a hugh range of colours, paid great attention to details and cleaned up after the installation. I am very happy with the finish of the splashback to my kitchen and laundry. Peace of mind to know that they provide 5 years warranty too.

I engaged Litsa to witness my loan document as I purchased my property under a trust. She explained her role and what the costs will cover before she started her work.
During the appointment:
- she was prepared as she has done the homework of reading the bank documents, which reduces the time I need to spend with her
- she explained all the details and in layman terms
I was juggling between work and all the paperwork which were quite daunting. Litsa put me at ease and it was a pleasure dealing with her.
Urban Edge performed the conveyancing for my purchase of a property. Settlement was on 22/8/14, no disbursement details until I chased them up. Three months later today (01/12/14) I am still chasing the money owed to me because of their mistakes, will be going to VCAT.
1. Typo on the cheque instruction to the bank - they typed 4815 instead of $815.
2. Included the money for body corporate in the adjustments but didn't actually pay the money to my body corporate.
3. Did not inform my body corporate of the change in ownership.
Communication was illusive and rude. Didn't look into the issue when I asked about discrepancies and I have to do my own investigations. No apologies for the mistakes they made and they made condescending comments.
