I heard Rebecca speak on resiliance in partners of Defence members, and the things that I took away from that have helped me cope so far with my husband's current deployment. Before I went to the session I felt hopeless about his impending deployment wondering how I would make it through. I walked away knowing that I could not only survive... I could maybe even thrive...
In speaking to Rebecca over the phone since then she has encouraged me and I walked away from that phone call feeling so encouraged and uplifted. I am thriving!
