Great little takeaway place, very clean shop, the potato bake is the best I've had in a long time, and the Chicken is always juicy and delicious, love the service, everyone who works there is polite and I've never been dissapointed in the food quality.

Lovely homecooked meals, in 12 years of being a customer there i've never been unhappy with a meal there, the chicken schnitzel with baked cauliflower is the best, I would recommend Ripper roast to anyone.

It's a lovely little shop, as soon as you walk in you get a ''hippie'' vibe, with strong incenses lit at all times, a good selection of herbal supplements including smoking herbs, herbal teas, and anything you can really think of, the only bad thing i need to point out, is that when we went in, the cashier didn't stop talking to his friend to even acknowledge us as he was ringing us up, other than that, a great shop!

I had been buying my coffee regularly from here for about 2 months before I had a problem with the shop, one of the employees came out to give us our coffee, when she dropped one straight onto the table and it spilt onto my husbands lap, nothing more than an embarrassed mumbled apology from the waitress, and she brought out another coffee (I honestly felt like they should have offered our money back for the coffee) but the whammy that ultimately deemed this coffee shop to just not be worth the $3.90 a small cup of coffee costs was last saturday, going in to order 2 small flat whites, two sugars in each the owner quickly told me ''You can put the sugar in yourself'' before quietly saying to me that there were sugar packets outside, having gone there at least three times a week for the last two months, I have never been told that before, and other people at the shop, himself included. had happily taken my order before. I was totally astounded at his rudeness, I won't be going there again, the coffee isn't worth it. The owner needs to remember something: it's the people that are coming in a few times a week that actually keep you in business, so instead of just reserving your good attitude for the AFL star that might come in a couple of times, how about you use it for everyone. I'm happy though that this happened, because I was actually about to write them a glowing review on womo, so at least this is truthful.

This review is for Kardinia Cafe, Geelong VIC

I love Kcafe, but as many people know it's a 50/50 thing when you order, sometimes they get it right, and the food is great, other times they mess up your order so bad, and forget things, like gravy, ice cream. I also dislike when one of the Indian staff answer the phone, its impossible to understand them and they always muck up your order, otherwise though, great souvlakis, great thickshakes.

**edit** In the last few months I have ordered a few times, depending on who you get on the phone you will be told if it's after 12am you need to pay with a credit card (seems to be more-so during the weekend) I ordered tonight at 10pm (26/08) They called back a couple of minutes later telling me that a driver was a couple of streets over and was going to pick up the money before going back to the shop, and bringing the food to me, apparently this is now protocal if you go over $50 worth of food + Delivery (I was at $59.80) in 3 1/2 years of ordering from here, this is the first time I've ever heard this, alarm bells went off so I cancelled my order, Very dodgy, whilst Kcafe is a reputable business, their drivers change so often that you can't really trust them (especially with their inability to ever hand you a receipt) Won't be ordering from them for a while...

Been going here for over 10 years and I've never been let down by the great food! They have the best gravy and chips I've found anywhere, they do a decent fish and the servings are huge! It's a great price for how much you can get, very friendly welcoming, enviroment, but, it does get way to hot in there sometimes, but they have outdoor tables so it's no problem, and don't be surprised if you have to go off and do something else for a few minutes while waiting for a table to open up since it's usually packed.

Walked in as I've been wanting to try this little cafe for a while, Ordered a can of coke (was room temperture) and a glass bottle of drink and ordered a cupcake, and piece of quiche lorraine, without asking they poured our drinks into dirty glasses, and brang the bottles that were still half full out with it, I chose to drink from the bottle as the glass had black ''bits'' floating in it. Cupcake came out, I had a bite to try, and was surprised to find that the cupcake icing was actually like a cheesecake icing, it was pleasent but the icing was rather runny. Waited about ten minutes on the Quiche Lorraine, this was extremely dissapointing, it tasted as if it had been reheated from frozen in the microwave (it was very soggy) and far to hot too eat, I actually burnt my tongue on it to give you the idea. I notice all the other reviews are about their ice cream, Whilst I didn't try it, it did look very appetising.

I joined splashdown with my mother as we were both excited to get back in the gym, nothing but trouble though, They ''lost'' our bank information forms, informed my mother a month after joining, and I wasn't informed until about five months later when i went to cancel my membership, even though the $50 a month fee had been coming out of my bank they asked for the $250 I apparently owed them, until I mentioned that It had been paid, offered my bank statements, and pointed out that they had managed to lose extrememly personal details. The pools are pretty bad, great if you have small children as the public area doesn't go above 1 metre of water, half the jets in the spa don't work, but the gym equipment is pretty decent
