When was your business founded?
1STOPINSULATION PTY LTD was registered in June 2023. We work across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, from Bendigo and Ballarat through to Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula.
What guarantees or warranties do you offer, if any?
Two warranties come with every installation: a 10-year warranty on our workmanship, and a 50-year manufacturer warranty on the insulation product itself.
What certifications, qualifications or awards has your business received?
We install under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, and our ceiling, wall and underfloor work follows AS 3999, the Australian standard for safe installation of bulk thermal insulation. We install Knauf Earthwool as our main product line.
What is your fee structure like? Fixed fees? Hourly rates?
Fixed price per square metre, not hourly. You get a written quote before any work starts, with the product and its R-value, the area in square metres, and any removal listed separately.
What are your current prices (fixed and variable)?
Supply and install typically runs between $30 and $60 per square metre, depending on the R-value you choose, how accessible the roof space or subfloor is, and whether old insulation has to come out first. Removal is priced separately per square metre and is discounted when it is booked together with a new install. Eligible Victorian homes can have ceiling insulation discounted under the VEU program.
What makes you unique compared to your competitors?
Every job is done by our own installers, not subcontractors, so the people who quote the work are the people responsible for it. Old loose-fill insulation is vacuum-extracted rather than hand-bagged, which keeps dust out of the living space. Every install includes an extension ladder with lock-jaw stabiliser, gutter protection, switchboard lockout and tagout, and roof fall-protection harnesses at no extra charge.
What insurance do you hold, and what value are you covered for?
$5 million public and products liability insurance. A certificate of currency can be provided on request.
How quickly can work be completed? What are your turnaround times? Do you offer same-day service?
We respond to quote requests the same day. Most residential ceiling jobs are completed in a single day; a removal and re-install on a larger home can run to two. Timing on your job is confirmed in writing when you accept the quote.

Removal and new installation booked together is priced as a package, which discounts the removal rate. Eligible Victorian homes can also access discounted ceiling insulation under the Victorian Energy Upgrades program - we will tell you at quoting stage whether yours qualifies. Quotes are free.
