We tried this restaurant after finding it in the Entertainment Book where we received 25% off the bill. We rang ahead to see if they can accommodate us being a Saturday night and were told yes you can make a booking.

We ordered samosa as entrees which were absolutely amazing!! freshly cooked and with a lovely hint of various spices and slightly spicy!

we shared mains of a chicken dish (sorry can't remember name with tomatoes, onions base and dahl, naan breads and rice.

the dahl had a good combination of lentils and other beans, very mild in taste and while was satisfying, it lacked a certain kick of flavour. my friend politely informed the waiter when he enquired about our meals and he took it on board our suggestions.

staff were lovely very polite and efficient in serving us.

a lovely restaurant with great wait staff who are smiling and welcoming

Approximate cost: $20

Interesting name for a restaurant. Sounds fabulous, will definitely be trying when in Melbourne next time. Thanks for reviewing.

Fantastic price

Quite cheap, drove past and liked the name. It was quite cheap, ordered chicken biryani which had cold chicken in it as a side. Naan bread was too flaky and my partner didn't like his fish meal. Don't recommend, the lady that served us was a rude so and so!

I stumbled into this place while i was on holiday in Melbourne.. Honestly, I was mostly enticed by the name and decided to give it a go.. I always like to compare the quality of food to the price and two fat indians offer exactly what you pay for.. the food is good and value for money..

average Indian food for me. I think the staff were friendly enough and the meals were great value, its just not the best I have tasted.

Not too bad. They could do a bit better but it's the same with all indian restaurants. Value for money is good but I wouldn't celebrate my 50th there. Would recommend you try it out, I might've been there on a bad day

I think previous comments are a bit harsh. Sure, not best restaurant in Melbourne, but Indian Restaurants are not meant to be. They're meant to be cheap, easy food with a bit of chilli, and that's exactly what we got at this place. Would recommend
