I have purchased numerous items over a 5 year time frame and never had a problem. My largest purchase was a $1500 refrigerator. Unfortunately it broke down. 2nds World replaced the unit free of charge within 2 days. The replacement unit also broke and the manufacturer gave me alot of trouble and refused to send a service person out in under three weeks. I called 2nds World and explained the situation. They replaced the unit with a different brand, higher quality and more expensive unit at no additional cost to me. Add to that it was done in under 24 hours and they gave me a $100 gift voucher to make up for the spoilt food. I always had a high opinion of the customer service they offer but that has now skyrocketed. They didn't have to replace the unit. It was past the 14 day make so it was in the hands of the manufacturer but they came to the rescue.

When I moved to Cremorne, seconds world's bright yellow signs outside the shop caught my eye as we needed "2nds" new electrical appliances. I must say im impressed, the items in the store are hardly damaged or bad, i have yet to see an item that it so bad it really CANT be sold. I bought a fridge, a vaccum cleaner and many more items there and i jsut cant complain about them at all. The staff helpers are great and spend loads of time carefully explaining the componenets of your purchase. The staff at the counter arent too bad, your average i-dont-care-about-you-im-here-cause-i-get-paid kinda staff.

Approximate cost: $My fridge cost me a measly $500 for a double door.
