These reasonably good value for money cafe in the city has a decent lunch, but also caters to people who want to grab something and return to work.

I don't want to say friendly service, but efficient during the rush without feeling rude or abrupt (that is an achievement).

I think I attended a function that ordered one a few of their great platters.

After discovering my usual lunch venue was totally booked, I thought I would have nowhere else to go especially being so close to Christmas time and with all the pre-xmas lunch functions going on in and around the city. In my bid to find somewhere for lunch, I stumbled across 325 on George. The place looked fairly empty at first or so I thought, that was until I discovered that all the tables had been reserved for Christmas party lunches. I decided that I would give lunch a miss that was until a nice waitress came up to my friend and I and said “can I help you” We said we were looking for somewhere for lunch but everything seems booked. She smiled and said there is literally one table for two left over there, would you like it? We immediately agreed and started looking over the menus. I chose to have a rib steak sandwich and fries and a pepsi max (approx $20.00). The waitress came back over and said it could be a bit of a wait, but we will work as quickly as we can. They were very accommodating despite how frightfully busy it was. Not even 20 mins later the meals were on the table and I was so happy, my meal tasted great, the rib steak sandwich really was delicious. It was all thanks to a great waitress who made it her business to ensure my friend and I still got to enjoy a good lunch. What great service!

- I had Turkish bread with dips to start - this was fine, a good serving of bread and enough dips (3) without overdoing it. I then had a Warm Chicken Salad with a side of vegetables. The salad was delicious with beautifully fresh ingredients. Before I had it I had thought that the inclusion of sugared walnuts in it was a strange idea, but the combination of flavours was quite delicious. I would go back here.

Approximate cost: $18

Great spot for a quick luck. I often go here for lunch as the quality of food brings me back. Its always fresh and in season. The tomato bruschetta is a winner in my books. Lovely staff but slow service when its busy.

Approximate cost: $12-22
