Made a trip off the beaten track to this little farm being developed from scratch. The season had just opened when we arrived so not much to show for it but this is salmon farming on ponds and product from it prepared by deft hands. Taste testing of smoked fish and some tassie brie brought me much delight. I suppose the walk around the bushy block was really interesting also but this place has a long way to go before I could say it was beautiful. A little cafe, a bit overpriced by my standards had some pies jams coffee tea pate bisc honey's and other seasonal local produce to entice you. Not far from Deloraine which is a bit of folklore up north of TASSIE. I think this one is for the wiser generation or those interested in eco tourism and not so much the food or the making of such but worth a look
