First time back since the opening of the new shop on same premises. I bought 3 sausage rolls, one lemon curd tart one strawberry french custard tart. All up $18. The sausage rolls are less spicy and still overdone with home made puff pastry. They are never the less morish on that cold winters day. The tarts are in a class of their own due to being filled with fresh ingredients not left over in the fridge for days. I inquired about cakes for special occasions and the prices range from about $16 for a beautifully presented passionfruit round sponge to $38 for beautiful looking mud cake. There were many other cakes available but these were my pickings and I would come back for them from sydney because this kitchen is to be seen and has a gifted perfectionist artisan at the wheel. The service is second to none by the lovely ladies and the rest rooms clean and ample as is the sit down service facilities. Well worth the stop over as you pause on lieu to bowral or beyond

Another stop over for a lunch. Bought a bushmans pie, one vienna tart, one gluten free piece of strawberry cheese cake and one small bottle of water. $16 plus. Places to sit and eat, no special sourdough breads. Very popular for tourist trade and locals but too expensive for the quality. The bushmans pie was tasty full not to salty and had small amounts of veg. The service was exemplary. This place fills on the weekends. I am glad to see a business in a quiet town doing so well but would like to see a bit of up skilling in their pastry quality and bread lines

Was directed to this bakery and purchased a pie and a bit of french pastry with fruit. This is a bakery with bread that is not totally oz but is fresh and easy eating on the pallet. The pie was not to my liking but it was fresh and filled with mince and the occassional piece of beef. Not to salty. The pastry was average. I would say that this experience was typical of the bakeries along the way and would like to see some flair in the cookhouses along the whys leading south. Worth a visit for those who enjoy the hot fresh doughs

Pulled in for a petrol stop on my long journey south. Greeted by a lovely lady at the register who gave me all the help I needed to the local Reids bakery and other bits in the town which I had never been too Apart from the petrol being expensive but no different than most along the why over the border, this was a clean and hospitable stop for some refreshments.

Upon visiting Victoria, I was coaxed to go to this place for a quick and different lunch. I think the proverb," YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" applies here. I have no problem with this place. Quick and easy as you come through the door to be seated. The food was with us in ten minutes. Pork dumplings and saucy fried noodles for the kids and nan had the chicken wanton soup with about 10 tiny pork filled wantons and clear liquid with salty flavour and one special fried rice with no salt. The rice place was $10 which is more than most chinese restaurants charge back home. The kids did the colour sloshy drink and the bill for 4 was $38. Not my favourite but not beyond redemption for a different taste for a lunch.

Visited my grandkids out of state and was guided by them to this place. Had never had the pleasure. I arrived at 12ish and sat down and the daughter and kids ordered me a lamb burger with rosemary salted flavoured chips. Chips were top class done in light oil and gently seasoned with rosemary herb. The burger was light white bread with lamb mince gentle salad with a herb sauce gently applied. My daughter and grandkids had vegie burger and while not organic, it was fresh and tasty. All up $47 for 3 burgers and large chips. If I went to the BIG M it may have been less for 4 meals but I found the quantity and quality very appealing for a first timer. Would go again if they keep up the quality. The red setting is spartan but clean and quiet enough to eat in peace.

How hard is it in small towns to find an open petrol station later in the evening? I pulled into Gerrringong and dropped my daughter off and found I was on empty. Could not find out from empty sts and closed businesses where to go so floundered around and found a servo closing up but the guy opened my tank and poured in the fuel even though I am sure he was on the way home himself. It saved me a night in the town and I was very thankful.

I am moving into the area and this is the closest big grocery store. I went there early sat morning and found staff to be available and of course the parking was fine but this is a busy store and the staff really need to be on the ball with the amount of restacking of boxes in the isles. I was frustrated further by the " do it yourself' lane that refuses to take debit transactions with out a lot of hassle and none to do with my card. My experience was made better by some more helpful persons who tries to assist but the whole woolies scene needs a big input of personal value places on staff so that they feel special in their serving positions in my opinion

Have had recent occassion to work with LEN from this office. My transactions with him to this time have been exemplery from his position. He has much experience in property sales and is wise and considerate when it comes to discussing matters of such significance. I have found favour with him regarding his communication and his sense of where and what I wanted in property and more helpfully, he has made areas where I have been ignorant more known to me. I feel he is more than a salesperson to the genunine honest seeker of his products

Very little competition so the prices are high in my opinion but quality is the name of the game. When you do professional work you cannot justify cheap acrylics for design application. Service is professional and the selection excellent. Advice is freely given if there is not a glut of customers and guidance is forthcoming from people who know their trade.
