I like the food at 63 degrees and particular like their iced coffee and breakfasts, but the massive table puts me off wanting to visit regularly. It's a shame because several times I've ended up going elsewhere because it just feels way too squashy inside. I know some people might enjoy it, but I do hope they change the seating arrangements

63 Degrees cafe at Highton is small but has a friendly buzz. Best of all, conversation isn't drowned out by overwhelming music; the music is set to just the right level. There's a big central table, tables to seat six or so, and then tables for two; these are perhaps a bit too narrow but necessary to save space. I'm always impressed by the greeting I receive from the wait staff who ask what food or meal you'd like and give you a menu, and say they'll come back and take your order. Too often cafes leave you to wonder whether you're expected to order and pay at the counter or not - not at 63 Degrees; it's all quite clear! The only meal I've had so far is the sweet potato hash cakes with a delicious light sauce and softly scrambled egg. The reason I haven't tried anything else yet is because I LOVE this dish; breakfast is my favourite meal out and this is such an innovative combination of flavours, I haven't yet worked through the rest of the menu. Apparently their home hash browns are also out of this world - I'll be trying this next. For friendly, professional service and delicious food, you can't go past 63 Degrees.

I didn't know you could get breakfast there! I want to try the sweet potato hash cakes you described now!

Nice little cakes and coffee. I had a tart with strawberry on it and a lovely hot soy coffee. I go here a lot. I last went here two weeks ago. Sweet little place. Enjoyable atmosphere. Yes vegetarian menu needs work and vegan options on the menu would be helpful. i agree.

Great little Cafe! Food is always great a tad overpriced! Plus they do make a decent espresso! And not to mention Blue Haven Milkshakes!

Was so impressed with the friendly service and the amazing food. The menu is wholesome and basic and you can tell it's all home cooked. The Simo Special breakfast was the best!

We have been here for a few breakfast meetings and I really like it. You can make changes to the menu items without the staff getting annoyed, so you can eat what ever you really want for breakfast. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the food is reasonably priced.

Approximate cost: $10
