the only place to buy your megs and fruit fresh in bulk and cheap they have potatoes fruit bread pasta eggs and it's all fresh too..buy in bulk and save heaps look out for their advert on tv for their specials that week and save even more

Have a good range of fruit and veg, and also some grocery lines that can be useful.
They advertise well, so always know what's on special this week.
I often drop in when in Glenorchy to see what they've got.

Good variety, relatively clean for what it is and very much a down market approach to selling produce - that's how they get away with selling things for so cheaply! I only wish that they were located more closely to where I live!

love this place the fruit and veg are cheaper than supermarkets and produce seems to last a little longer they also stock bulk honey and have some frozen goods as well plenty of parking and toilets near by across the road from target and coles

Shopped here for the first time last week. Was most impressed with the range of fruit and veg available, plenty of room between items on display. Also has some staples and dry goods, plenty of staff. An enjoyable shopping experience.

A1 is a bit of an overstatement. They aren't fantastic but not terrible. It's central in Glenorchy so I pop in if I'm doing my grocery shopping there. Sometimes I am pleasantly surprised other times I find myself back at Coles.
Something I do find really off putting is the staff at the checkouts are constantly bagging up various vegetables to sell by the bag in between serving customers.
This understandably makes some of them rather snappy..
Worth a look, but don't go out of your way.

Bought fruit from there and one day later it was rotten, i threw it out and next time i was in there i told them about it and they asked for proof and i said i had thrown it out they said too bad no refund or replacement. They dont stock all fruit and vege there and most things over priced

The best for value for money, freshness, variety and friendly staff in Hobart can not fault I've shopped at many others from Brighton to Margate this is the best one around.

Shop here weekly,always good value,always fresh produce.Have shopped at other fruit and veg markets before,many of previous markets advertise 'fresh' when actually poor quality.This market sell what they state.
