The Ace Motel was, as one would expect,a typical motel. Our room was clean enough, and the bed was comfortable. The room had a double bed and a single bed, separate bathroom, tean and coffee making facilities and a flat screen TV. Parking is at the door. Staff are pleasant. The biggest surprise for us was the room service meals. I was amazed at the quality of the food delivered, we had both an evening meal, and a fully cooked breakfast. The food was exceptional, including local seafood, and was very well priced. The main meals were $25 each, and the breakfast was $16 each. We were stuffed! My only minor complaint was that there was no curtian on the window above the single bed (it wasn't needed for privacy, but for the sun shining in at 4am!), and the fact that cleaning staff get up and at it quite early, so there is lots of door knocking etc even though check out it 10am. No chance of a sleep in here! Overall though, for $89, it was fine, and the food was an added pleasant surprise!

A really good place to stay, the staff are friendly and very helpful. As soon as we walked in we were treated with a friendly staff member and they asked if we where here on business or holiday and we said holiday and they got a map out and showed us some good places to visit etc. We also had dinner in the restaurant and the food was well priced and tasted great. Oh and they gave us a free wine with our meal. The hotel might not look much but the service is almost the best I've ever received, anywhere.
