I had 9 outdoor blinds installed on my home and was very disappointed with the quality of service I received. On a previous occasion I had one blind installed and was happy with the service provided. On this occasion, however, some of the installation was sloppy (blinds mounted too low, rope ends of different lengths and not sealed) and communication with the business was very poor: calls weren't returned; appointments weren't kept without explanation or apology and there was poor communication between staff members e.g. the person quoting and the person/s installing. Issues identified such as wood rot preventing the mounting of one blind where expected and the fact that a blind could not cover the entirety of a sliding door were only mentioned after installation - solutions were then suggested e.g. longer guide rods, but subsequently said to be not possible. I feel very let down by this company.

I contacted the Ace of Shades to quote and install block out blinds on the north and west faces of my period home. Right from the start it was an amazingly smooth process. The man arrived on time to quote the job, was really friendly and while they weren't the cheapest - they were also not the most expensive - I was given some really helpful advice and a few tricky windows were dealt with easily. The blinds were made and installed according to schedule a look great. In fact 2 other people (including family) have used them based on my great experience. The blinds have dramatically reduced the impact of hot weather on the interior of the house and today look as good as when they were installed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again... and again!

When I accepted the quote I had the blinds installed within a month - very impressive considering how busy they are this time of year (nov/dec). The installers arrived on time & completed the job quickly cleaning up after themselves (only wood shavings). Job well done - I'd highly recommend Ace of Shades!

Ace of shades fitted a motorized folding arm awning and installed internal blinds to our home. We chose them not only because they gave us the cheapest quote, but also at the time of quoting impressed us with their professionalism. We were very pleased with the awning and blinds, and their follow up service has been exceptional. They have always been prompt, helpful and courteous.

Had sun blinds installed for two windows. The service is amazing. The showroom staff were really helpful in picking fabrics, the estimator came and measured and was on time and very knowledgeable. The turnaround from order to installation was so quick. And the installers were great - really quick, tidy and polite.
