Having completed first aid courses with this company in the past I was happy to sign up to do the Anaphylaxis and Asthma courses in March 2013 at my local community centre.
The course was supposed to take place on Saturday 16th March. Unfortunately the trainer didn't have access to the materials needed so just didn't bother to turn up. After speaking with the owner on the Monday after we arranged to complete the course on Saturday 23rd March. The course went ahead on that day, no problems.
The problem is that it is now October 2013 and I still have not received my certificate for these courses- without them I have no proof that I have completed them. I have called Acute Health and sent a lot of emails to no avail. The staff promise to pass on messages, return calls etc but this rarely happens. The certificates have apparently been re-ordered at least 6 times but I still don't have one. Recently I have requested a refund- so far that has not happened either.

I found this company to be among one of the best First Aid Class providers around, and I've tried a few. They answer your queries promptly, provide a wide range of classes - C P R, Level 2 Senior, Asthma courses etc. Any training you require for the workplace or just to know what to do at home.

It's scary if you don't. I actually had to assist at a road accident recently and I blessed the fact I'd done a course so I knew how to help.

Their main office is in Ascot Vale (Flemington) but I actually attended classes at the Sunshine facility. This was small, friendly and convenient.

The provider was excellent and gave us practical skills and knowledge. Highly recommended.
