We went for a long weekend,mother and 2 daughters with the purpose of shopping, and couldn't have chosen a better spot. We go to Melbourne fairly often, about once a year and try and stay in a different location each time. We love the Adina Apartments because they offer the seperated spaces so people can be asleep while others are watching TV in a different room. There is plenty of space here and a fully equiped kitchen which reduces the need to go out for every meal. We had a one bedroom apartment with a rollaway bed and we could fit it in the bedroom with plenty of space, infact more space than many apartments that only have a single bed. The main bed was a King so everyone had a great bed and a great nights sleep. The receptionist cannot help you enough, she was brilliant giving advice of where to go and what to see and how to get there. We were really close to Toorak Road and Chapel Street and spent one full day walking up and down Chapel street, bagging some great bargains. It is freezing in Melbourne at night time so decided to have room service one night. It is one of those arrangements where the restaurant delivers to your room. The food was excellent and they really served a lot of food and arrived exactly when they said and tasted fresh and warm. The in-house movies are expensive, but it was so cold that we stayed in and we had a huge choice of movies. They were about $16 each, but if we had gone to the movies it would have cost more for 3 people. I would highly recommend this place. It also has a gym and a small heated pool, which my youngest took advantage of.
