As a parent, I am appalled at such poor quality of 'professional' school photos that any of my children have ever received.

The quality of the paper is poor and very thin.

Also, this year's (2023) group photo has each of the students being photoshopped and cropped from their individual photos. The poor height representation is just plain ridiculous; my son would be in the top three tallest students in the class, yet his group photo shows him to be one of the shortest boys/ class members. No care has been taken to position children according to height.
The cost of the photos doesn't come cheap and to top it off, the photos took over 5 months to be delivered! I hope that our school chooses another company to record our children's school journey next year, as receiving these have been very disappointing.

The complete lack of care or regard this company has in taking photos is disgraceful. I truly didn’t know it was possible to take such bad school photos and ruin what is a great moment in time for so many children in Australia. Instead my child’s school photos will forever be a mockery of her. Don’t use this company. They couldn’t care less about taking a professional photo or the memory they are creating for these children.

Took my children to go get there sibling photos. One child goes to a different school to the other two. I was on school grounds when they took all three to get photographs done and didn’t say anything to me.
Find out when the kids get home telling me they had to have there photo re done without the other sibling as they don’t do siblings from other school. Why was I not notified or spoken too. Don’t know what the problem is, they are my kids and I paid you for a service in advance before the photos where even taken!

I get school photos so the kids have something to look back on, so they have memories!

So bitterly disappointed!
In the beginning, we were quite satisfied with the photos supplied by this company. I was never really happy with the price, however, sometimes it's what you pay for memories for your children.
Today however I am completely gob smacked at how they do not live up to their promises. You see, one of my daughters had a photo with very little hair last year... She was a brave warrior who survived cancer. She was confident in going back to school despite her different appearance. Her 2020 photo, although unique, was a reflection of the battle she had fought. Fast forward a year (2021) and we had to attend her 12 month check up in Brisbane. Unfortunately this was also school photo day. Which wasn't too much hassle and Advanced life seemed very accommodating, instructing us to turn up to another school on a particular date and they would have her and her siblings sit their photos. We had pleasent dealings at that point. A covid outbreak in Brisbane saw the photographers needing to rebook the photos. We got a courtesy call to tell us our photos would have to be rebooked also. No worries, we can do that. Today however, after seeing the photos were taking place at the school, I called to enquire and they told me we were no longer able to attend them! Where was that courtesy call? Why do I now hacmve to explain to my children that although they were promised their photos were to be done, it could no longer happen?
So now my daughter who is a senior in primary school misses out on a SENIORS photo/memento and my second daughter misses out on her butterfly moment with cute pigtails and pride beaming out of her smile. Shame on you Advanced Life. SHAME!

Terrible customer service - i advised them my child would be absent and asked for a refund. i emailed 4 times and phoned multiple times - zero response. - ZERO. I have now received photos without my child in it. These are such poor quality photos. Would not recommentd

Poor quality photos, kids look pale and sick, photos are over exposed. No one returns phone calls, emails or enquiries on their webpage.

I found that some of the staff is very rude. Advanced Life Photography did my photos and one of the men that was running the schedule was speaking in an arrogant way. He also made a comment on the way I spoke. I'm not sure if he was trying to make a joke but i didn't find it funny and I found it quite offensive. This man made me feel very uncomfortable, embarassed and very annoyed. The rest of the staff was okay. Another comment I'd like to make is that the service was very slow. They were running an hour late on doing the photos.

Lady working with A-G was impatient, rude and didn't take an individual's concern into consideration. Didn't give students time to get ready and took the photo to get it over and done with. Photos will probably turn out bad as students were barely ready, they probably didn't get the chance to look at the camera.
Worst way to have your year 12 school photos taken. On the other hand there was an employee who'd assist students in fixing themselves, making them look presentable. Props to him!

Wouldn't recommend them at all.
