low quality rush jobs when it comes to editing. my school switched to them for photography and the quality went massively down hill

The photo of my child has been so altered that she is unrecognisable. Many students and teachers commented on my daughters weird appearance in the photo Leaving her feeling embarrassed and humiliated. When I contacted advanced life staff to ask them to explain why they would alter my child’s appearance they stated that they never alter any photos ever. When I rang my daughters school to express my dissatisfaction with the product and customer service provided by Advanced Life I was informed that several families were upset that their child’s appearance had also been altered too. My advice to the staff at Advanced Life is if you are going continue to alter people’s appearance then you should employ staff who have some skill in this area.

Worst school photos that I have ever seen for my children. The photographer must be in hurry as crazy hairs of my children were shown in photos. I will not buy any package from them anymore.

What can I say? Advanced Life photography is probably the worst photography service money can buy. I've had my school photos taken by this same pathetic company for the past five years and today I recieved my fifth batch, I am an extremely unhappy Jan. I haven't rescently been on a tropical holiday tanning, yet they managed to ramp up the exposure to about 500, managing to make me look orange, quite similar to the colouring of an "oompa lompa." The abnormally close up photo of myself, resembles the looks of Shrek. To top it off the staff that represented the company on photo day were exponentially rude and further altered my horrific experience.
I'm not being over-dramatic when I say that I am so unbelievably tired of paying good money to this untrustworthy company, and taking the time to try and make myself look descent only to receive this poor representation of myself for my whole school to see. Thank you so much advanced life, but it's a NO from me.

Very rude staff, and extremely unprofessional staff and systems. Advanced life has taken my school photos for the last 5 years. A member of staff took my photograph, told me it didn't look good, and didn't even bother to retake it. Extremely disappointed.

I would have given them no stars but unfortunately that was not an option. Where do I start with the awful service?
To start with, the photographers exhibit extremely unprofessional behaviour and photography skills. Every year of purchasing the photos I had been greatly dissatisfied with the photos, the photographers regardless if you were blinking or not smiling would tell you to move on.
This year when I asked if I could see my photo the photographer lady rudely said no. Unbelievable that you can even see your own photo that YOU paid for (and might I add that the photos were not cheap) I was utterly shocked from her rudeness and the way she went about it. When I pay big money, that means you work for me! It is extremely unprofessional for you to treat me garbage.

Additionally, my photo was just around her screen, if she was worried about time it certainly was not going to take me 2 hours to simply view my image, if fact me asking her if it at least turned out okay took more time than it would have taken to simply have viewed the photo.

Don't even get me started about the value, not worth it, especially when your photo turns out like balderdash.

Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with the the quality and professionalism of this company. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

The photos of my usually photogenic children were awful. Sibling and individual photos the kids were biting their lip or not smiling. I spent $120 on unusable photos. Many parents at the school had the same experience

Emailed the company to express my concern - no response.

What choice do we have though - either we choose to have no photo or take whatever we are given.

What a horrible photo taken.
Can tell by not only my sons primary photos but others in same class its just a set smile move on no effort taken by photographer in making sure of a nice smile. better value with the shopping centre photo mobs.

On the school portrait my 5 year old makes silly face and looks ridiculous! Seriously - nobody noticed ?? As long as I would understand it on the group picture, on the individual one is unacceptable. After spending some time looking for a company's contact number (no wonder is difficult to find) I was offered a refund if I send pictures back (as next year my daughter changes school I didn't want to give back group photo) or travel 100 km to their branch to take another shot. Also bookmarks and name tags which suppose to be included in the package were only a prints - not the ready product. And on top of this the photos arrived uncut on 2 sheets - I have to do it myself.... I wonder how they get the school photo deal at all? Bad product and once you have paid no one cares what you received... Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Very dissatisfied with the service given by this company. Photographer singled out 'large' members of senior staff and caused them to feel humiliated in front of their peers. This is absolutely not an appropriate way to treat respected members of a school community. Disgusting.
