Having read wonderful reviews on here I thought I'd give them a try. The fact that they tout themselves as being able to offer both beauty & medical procedures was a real incentive. They were really knowledgable but information was too much and myself being a biology graduate and well researched in skin information not necessary. The microdermabrasion treatment was below standard, I have had this done before and it normally takes about 30 min to remove the top layer of skin on the face. At this clinic the therapist just passed over face once with the machine which took a couple of minutes. At first I thought perhaps it was because they do a peel as well, but even then it should be more thorough. Considering I payed $200 for treatment I feel like I wasted my time and money, all I can say is another instance of lots of hot air and not much substance....

The knowledge base of this clinic is amazing and they will make you change the way you think about your skin and the products you use. However, they are exorbitantly over priced to the point that it has put me off going back. I have compared their prices to another clinic in Port Melbourne and the are a third more expensive. An example of this is their Cosmedix range where their Refine plus was around $180 but only $114 at the other clinic (with a further $14 off with their VIP program). This seems to be the case with most of their products which can be up to three times more expensive than other places. If this doesn't bother you, then it is a great clinic.

Excellent customer service, and more importantly excellent products and treatments. The staff are really caring and give you a very personalised treatment. I have been going for over a year and both the IPL and peels have changed how I feel about myself and changed how I look. The opening hours are suitable for everyone as they are open early in the morning through to later in the evening. This is definitely the best salon / clinic I have come across and I plan to continue being a regular!

Having a cupboard full of products that don't work, I was not looking to purchase more. After enjoying a great treatment I decided to invest (yet again!) as my therapist explained everything to me in a way that just made sense and answered all my questions patiently. I'm pleased to report a few months down the track that my skin has never looked better! I have referred several friends to the salon and I will never go anywhere else! Thanks girls, you are the most knowledgable salon I've ever been to and I love your monthly specials too. See you next week

This Clinic is the most professional that I have ever seen. The staff are extremely knowledgable and friendly. It's no wonder they won salon of the year! For someone who had never bothered to take care of my skin before, the results have been amazing. Highly recommended

I visited this salon about a year ago now and had continued to visit for about 3 months prior to stopping. Initially I loved and raved about it but towards the end of treatment i was very disappointed. Pros: Friendly staff. Great products (Rx and aspect- Cosmedix not worth the price). Clean and professional clinic. Wide range of treatments offered. Cons: Their advertised 'guarantee' is non existent and when asked for a refund was totally ignored, the products and the treatment that they had pushed had not worked, even to their surprise. They had offered an extra treatment (supposed to increase the effectiveness of my prior treatments) at 50% off which I did but this didnt work either. Staff can be pushy and presumptuous at times. They sell for the sake of selling. Effectiveness: treated some aspects texture, but not what I had paid for or to the expectation that was defined at the initial consultation ( I had kept a photo dairy and the difference from start and finished was only noticed in my wallet). I think this salon has the potential to be fantastic, I had recommended them to my friends if not for the service, their products. But and this is a big BUT, while friendly and approachable when selling, there is no follow through to any after-service care. This is fundamental in retaining a strong customer based and the word of mouth promoting that comes with it, and I feel this team lacks the ability entirely. I am going back only because my friend still continues to go there and suggested another try as she really likes them (but not for major treatments more so maintenance).

I have been seeing the advanced skin girls since the salon first opened. I couldnt recommend them highly enough. Friendly staff that care about helping you achieve your goals. Not only do they care about what goes on your skin but also inside. Absolutely brilliant and I will never go anywhere else!!!

I cannot say enough about advanced skin & beauty! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and are focus on ensuring I get great results. Their skin programs and products are amazing and I am so happy with the changes I've seen in my skin! I can't wait to try some of their detox therapys too!
